Chapter 49: The Battle for Lagara Pt 2
Boom!
A human aircraft was shot out of the sky.
"DAMNIT!" Byron cried. "We've lost 5 aircraft so far! What is the source of these attacks! THey are so fast I can't see them!"
"Apparently they are from a single man... he's shooting us down from a hovercycle below" A man answerd
"Impossible! What kind of gun can do that!"
"Here's a visual of him now!"
Up on the screen a visual of SHine riding a hovercycle came up on their screen.
"What arer you talking about! He's unarmed!" Byron screamed
"Just wait you'll see!" The man answered
As Byron road, a hovercopter appeared next to him.
"Hmm... I hate the soun dof bugs" Shine said cleaning out his earlobes
"Aiming his finger at the hovercopter he made them into the sign for a gun."
"Boom!" Shine said.
"In an instan the entire hovercopter was destroyed by a ray of light traveling so fast Byron had almost missed it."
"YOUR TELLING ME THE N.H.A AIR FLEET IS BEING TAKEN OUT BY A SHIFTER WITH HIS BARE HANDS! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!"
"I'm sorry sire were' doing the best we can."
"Bring out the big boys!" Byron commanded. "I don't care if he's just one man! We got to show him who the hell he's messing with!"
"Your move" Seymour said to sherief
"As you wish!" Shereif answered
Shereif sent a swarm of scarabs at Seymour in a giant stream.
Using his sword, Seymour sliced the air, sending a wedged projectile to cut through the stream.
"Impressive" Sherief said. "Your attack is powerful enough to slice through my scarabs... However!"
As Shereif changed the flow of his attack, The Scarabs navigated around the slice, converging onto Seymours location
"Impossible!" Seymour said. "You can control them at will!"
Boom!
The swarm of Locusts blasted into Seymour eating away at his nanobot armor
As he fell through the air, he tried to reposition himself onto his cloud of nanobots.
"Go my Scarabs!" Shereif screamed. This time he sent out two waves coming at Seymour from either direction.
"If I can't split them..." Seymour said. "I'll match them!"
raising an arm to either side, Seymour sent out a wave of nanobots combatting against the huge hoard of Scarbs that were heading towards him.
"Once again, your attack is stronger..." Sehreif said. "But mine is more intellegent!"
Once again the scarabs shifted position, this time , cocntrating themselves into a long spear shape. Hitting Seymours attack at a locolized region, they burst through a hole in Seymours defence.
"There's something use should know about my nanobots" Seymour said. "They're pretty intelegent too you know!
Pop! Pop! Pop!
One by one Shereifs scarabs started to pop before they reached Seymour.
"Impossible! How!"
"THey are nanobots for a reeason! They are nanosized almost too small for the naked eye! The ones you see indivdually are clusters of thousands! AAnd one of the special perks of my nanobots is they are capable of emitting high frequency ether beams that destroy everything in their path.!
"Wait!" Sherief cried as a cloud of Nanobots poued out around them.
"Then these bots here!"
"That's right!" Seymour said
As he spoke, a giant girth of Green energy began to glow from the cloud of Nanobots
"Damnit!" Sherief yelled.
"Nanobeam!" Seymour yelled.
ZOOOM!
THe giant girth of Green energy flowed out bursting into a cone. The green flash covered Shereif completely envolping him.
Down on the ground Vincent was still battling the three S.P.A captains
jumping in and out of their attacks he finessed them with ease.
"Is that all you've got?" He laughed.
"Veronica! Vic! Stand back! Ths guy is pissing me off!" Core grumbled.
Stomping his feet, Core's horns became read once again, this time becoming red hot. As they glowed they began to dobule, once and then again until he had 6 horns on his head. As steam emenated from his skin it also became hareder and reddened.
"Oh shit!" Vic said. "He's using that form here!"
"This isn't good" Veronica said. "LEts fall back
Core bent over as his skin mutated as four arms sprouted from his back. As his body became hotter and hotter he grew in size until he was nearly a 12 foot tall beast with m ultiple arms.
"Huh?" Vincent said scratching his head. "You think a couple extra limbs is gonna make a-"
Blink!
Core was gone
"He's fast!" Vincent said. "He's already behind me!"
Vicnent turned around and saw nothing
BLink!
"No way! That was an afterimage!"
Blink
Core appeared in front of him breathin gout a breath of hot steam
BOOM!!
CRACK!
Vincent was hit with a punch so hard, his entir ebody folded in half around his stomach as he belched out saliva. As his body shook from the impact of the punch his pupils danced in circcles
Following the punch he skid across the ground slamming into the mine and causing a the cave to converge on itself.
"No!" Vic cried "The Shifters inside!"
"No worries" Victoria assured him. "Wei is in their"
Deep in the cave Wei sensed a the ceilings giving way and instantly called out.
"Everyone! Form a circle around me!" He cried.
As the shifters from the mine gathered around Wei he bent over and signaled for everyone o kneel.
"This is going to take almost all of my ether! Nights watch my back!"
"Roger" Nights answered
Out on the battlefeild everyone paused to watch what was happenin gin the cave.
"TERAWING!" Wei cried
BOOOMMMMM!
"What in the hell!" Vic said
"That's Wie alright" Victoria
"What the hell?" Seymour said lookin gdown.
Protruding out of the cave, a pair of white wings nearly the size of a fortress were coming out protecting the people of the mine from the falling rocks. The white wings unfolded and sprout out, clearing the space inside the mine.
"What the hell was that!" Reggie cried looking on at the wings.
Lars remembered Obrians words
"You are going to do one thing and one thing only, confirm the existant of the Pandora, if you are able to do that, A battle of proportions you cannot imagine will take place between the S.P.A and these bandits, at no point are you to engage them is that clear?!"
"So" Lars said. "This is what you meant Obrian... where are you now as this battle breaks out.
Ring Ring
Lars looked down at his holowatch
"Incoming call, Henriette Obrian"
