"What's a warp gate?" I asked.

I have never heard that term before.

Sera looked at me weirdly. The kind that makes me feel like I'm some idiot for not knowing what it is.

Heck, even I am embarrassed of myself.

"How do you not know about warp gates? What the hell… You got here first before me so why don't you know that such an amazing thing exists?"

I slowly scratched my cheek.

"... Well, I don't leave the empire, so how the hell would I know?"

Sera then gave me a pitying look.

"Oh, poor you."

"Anyway, warp gates are portals that teleport you to other places with warp gates. Can you believe this world can do amazing sh-t like that yet no one has invented a fvcking car? Or an airplane? Something more comfortable and efficient than stupid carriages?" she began to rant.

My eyes widened when she mentioned the car.
