Epilogue: Lunch (4)

Perseus POV

As soon as we were done, I teleported the 2 of us back home into the bedroom where Dawn was resting and so I took my opportunity to take a good shower again. I got out and Leilah immediately narrowed her eyes and started to sniff me.

"You have her scent all over...you did it already." she pouted

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Don't need to lie." she said while hugging me, "You want lunch? I got some leftover."

"No need, I've had mine. Just dessert."

"I don-"

I cut her off by kissing her which she reciprocated.

Lily rushed to me when I sat on the couch, she then handed me a remote and asked me to put on some cartoons while she sat in my Lap.

Jazz and Orion were playing with Rosa and Vince, which left her quite lonely. Lily isn't as active as the other 2, but she's definitely the smartest, potentially, she could be the smartest in the family.

With my genes, her magic won't be bad either, she can be a chief if she utilizes her potential correctly.

"Daddy, are you going to be chief?" she asked

"No, I prefer not to be."

"Why not?"

"I'll be working instead of looking after you guys."

"But I hear Mom Ruka said something about everyone making you chief anyway."

"I hope it's honorary since I would barely be doing anything, all I'm good at is fighting."

"You're the best at making us laugh, fixing things when they break, and giving the best hugs when we're sad. Being chief might mean more work, but it also means everyone gets to see how amazing you are, not just us. Plus, we'll still be here to help you whenever you need it!"

"Since when did you know so many words?"

Like I knew she was smart, but these types of things shouldn't be coming out of a 2-year-old's mouth. I don't know how to raise such a smart person since I was only a fraud genius, a genius who was given that title due to me having past life memories.

"I'm working hard so that I can be an advisor for you in the future." she exclaimed

"I'll support your dreams of being an advisor."

"No, you're supposed to say no."

"What do you mean?"

"You don't even plan on being chief, tell me to follow my dreams of being a princess."

"You want to be a princess?"

"No! But you get the idea!"

"I was just teasing you." I replied while tickling her

"Ah, stop hahah."

Ruka POV

I came home to see my own husband and our daughter sleeping with the TV on, I'm surprised they can sleep in such an uncomfortable position, at least move to the bed. I just brought a blanket to cover them, but Lily woke up.

"Mom, what time is it?" she asked while rubbing her eyes

"5 in the afternoon."

"Oh, sorry."

"It's fine, you were tired."

"Mom, I love you all."

"I love you too."

I almost asked Perseus for another child there, that I-love-you was too unexpected.
