3rd Person POV
As the war continued to rage on in the desert, Phineas was spotted on the battlefield himself where he was taking command and had been seen attacking the heroes, the man's face was filled with anger and determination, and his presence revitalized the morale of his allies, much to the displeasure of the heroes.
As the battle raged on, the dark clouds above churned and crackled with an otherworldly energy. A storm was brewing, and it was no ordinary storm, not just that, it felt familiar. Lightning struck down from the heavens, striking a nearby hill shattering it into a thousand fragments.
Bolts of searing lightning streaked through the darkened sky, illuminating the battlefield below. The atmosphere then heated up and the heat got so bad that flammable items started to get lit on fire, and sweat evaporated from the fighters' bodies.
And the largest lightning bolt struck down on the cult's base where Perseus appeared again with a smirk on his face.
"Miss me?" he taunted "It's been a long time, Finn, I was starting to miss ya a little bit."
"Perseus..." Phineas uttered under his breath
"For a group of people who hate demons, I can't actually believe that you are collaborating with them, but hey, a continent is a continent."
"Why are you here?" Phineas demanded
"What else would I be here for?"
The atmosphere's tension rose as they sized each other up. Phineas knew that this battle would be unlike any other, for he the one who possessed the powers of Michael, was the guardian of light, and Perseus was a force of formidable power who was his opposite.
With the first sound of lightning crackling, Perseus lunged forward with a speed that defied human limits. Phineas responded, his body enveloped in a protective glow as he evaded the blade's initial strike.
Phineas then charged at him with a fist of blinding light, but he witnessed it once again, no matter how strong the light was, he could never use it to harm the light bringer. however, he can use it to enhance his physical abilities.
Phineas's radiant presence created an oasis of light amidst the scorching desert and dispelled the heat. He summoned his blade, combined with his supernatural agility, allowed him to move with incredible grace and speed.
With each swing of Perseus' sword, bolts of lightning arced across the dunes, his strikes shaking the very earth beneath them. The air crackled with energy as he pressed his assault, determined to pierce through Phineas's defenses.
They clashed and whether he got injured or not, he continued to heal without a chance for his injuries to become any close to being fatal. He sought to gain the upper hand by channeling the relentless power of Michael.
Jonathan released powerful shockwaves through Phineas's protective light shield every time they made contact. The radiance around Phineas flickered and waned. His movements grew sluggish, and sweat glistened as the relentless heat bore down upon him.
He fought to maintain his focus and the strength of his celestial powers, but the tide of the battle had begun to turn.
Perseus seemed to grow even more potent with each passing moment as if he never fought with his full strength from the beginning. The thunderous cracks echoed through the desert, and bolts of lightning lashed out, narrowly missing Phineas with each strike. The ground quivered beneath their feet, and the air itself crackled with raw power.
With a powerful swing, Perseus delivered a crushing blow that sent Phineas sprawling in the sand. Phineas's radiant form sputtered, and his once-impenetrable light shield shattered. He struggled to rise as his body became weary.
Sensing Phineas' weakened state, Perseus continued on the offense. He raised his sword high, summoning a massive bolt of lightning that arced down from the sky with deafening fury. Phineas, still on the ground, summoned the last reserves of his strength to create a protective barrier, narrowly deflecting the devastating strike.
But he didn't give up as he continued to fight with every ounce of his being. He summoned the remnants of his celestial power, his eyes ablaze with determination, and launched a blinding series of counterattacks that momentarily surprised Perseus.
No one around them could even come close, they couldn't even see what was happening in the fight as they were moving too fast and because they were blown back so far away. The sheer intensity of their battle created a radiant barrier of blinding light and loud thunder, deafening them as well.
As the battle raged on, it became increasingly clear that the outcome of this confrontation transcended the limits of mortal understanding, a realm that they could never hope to reach.
Phineas relied on his life force and used it to power himself, he took the lightning head-on and charged at Perseus, no attack could put him down while his body radiated light. He used his wings and shot out razor-sharp feathers of light, and while Perseus was occupied with them, he managed to properly cut through Perseus' defense.
Perseus bled, but he didn't scream or groan in pain, only winced. And the shock was short-lived. Though surprised, Perseus was not easily defeated as he then summoned the full might of his sword's power. Thunder roared, and lightning crackled as he swung the weapon in a wide arc, creating a vortex of energy that engulfed Phineas.
Phineas resisted and fought valiantly, but he crumbled under the power.
<Just what the hell is that sword?!> He thought furiously
He was overpowered and brought to his knees where Perseus kicked him to his back and placed the powerful sword at his throat.
"You...where did you go?" Phineas asked
"I traveled to the world of heroes." Perseus answered
"You what?!"
"I know, people over there were super weird, like they use fried chicken as buns, or even a glazed donut, like are you not scared of death? A lot of people with our powers too, had to kill a whole bunch of em."
"How?! Heroes are stronger if they are near each other, the more they are, the worse it gets! How did you survive in a world of heroes?!"
