Sam was beginning to think whether he had a golden finger or Manasa. She was like MC of novels. She was a cobra then she transformed into lowest level of dragon snake. It is difficult for common beasts to absorb dragon bloodline. Sam only thought Manasa could absorb it due to help of system and also because she had huge potential because intelligent common beasts were as rare as phoenix feather. Then she comprehended Dao of life. It wasn't that shocking at first because Sam had already prepared meal for her, how much she could eat it was up to her. What beasts could be in this valley. Looking at the climate and altitude there mayn't be strong beasts here. I think there may be rats, maybe hares, deer and jackal can be seen. If I am unlucky then I will have to face Himalayan bear too. The jackals have strong sense of territory but they are weak and may obey my command. They can be late and peak stage. So, I can't attack them for now. But, I do have advantage. If Manasa can bite them stealthily then they will die immediately. I will fight them if only it is last resort. But they will obstruct our hunting for sure. They are like hyena, they will try to steal our prey. They are a big headache for now.

Sam heard the sound of dogs barking. The wild dogs were outside the valley they were hunting a deer. The deer was running towards the valley but Sam could already see it's end. Deer's body weren't made to climb up or down hills. The deer existed here because of pastureland. As for the question how did they appeared here. Sam wasn't a zoologist, so didn't knew the answer.

"Manasa let's make that deer our meal today." Sam and Manasa ran towards the deer. They didn't care about the dogs and attacked the deer. The deer was terrified seeing Sam and Manasa. It was running for sometimes so it was already tired. It couldn't evade their attack and was killed.

The dogs were looking towards Sam and Manasa with anger. This was their prey. The wild dogs have tough life. They hunt in group so a single hunt can't suffice the whole group. There were jackals inside the valley so they don't dare to hunt in jackal's territory. The deer only live in plain terrain like in the valley or in pastureland. They had to eat hares or similar small animals. Today they were lucky enough to catch a deer. But, Sam ruined their plan. Sam didn't cared for them and roared. The dogs at initial stage were terrified.

Two dogs came forward which were bigger than other dogs. Sam and Manasa were also prepared. Manasa jumped and bite the dog near her. The dogs hadn't faced a snake till now so it was caught unprepared. Lightning cracked around Sam's body and his speed increased than when he was hunting deer. He was keeping his move secret to catch the dogs off guard and it was successful. He used lightning bite. When he was biting dog in neck he used his claw and used lightning claw. He had a long snake like body why will not utilize it's advantage. He managed to wound the front limb of wild dog. Other dog were already attacking Sam and Manasa. Manasa ignored them and bit the dog Sam was fighting with. This was the strategy they had established. Manasa had extremely potent venom. No, creature in earth can live to see Sun tomorrow if it is bit by Manasa. Sam and Manasa shamelessly fled after fighting the dogs not taking single glance at the dead deer.

The dogs could only helplessly look towards them. They neither took away the deer nor left. They were observing Sam's every move. When a dog gets near the deer he will start running towards them. Then when all the dogs become alert he will shamelessly retreat. After half a minute, the dog whom Manasa bit fell on the ground. It was twitching. Another dog also fell on ground after sometimes. Sam immediately ran towards the dog and roared. The dogs were terrified their leader couldn't fight now so they were bewildered whether to run or fight till the end.

Sam knew what they were thinking so he roared gain and released his aura. " Your leader is already dead don't waste your life fighting for a dead dog(man)." Sam did nothing and looked towards the dogs. The dogs whimpered for few second and left glancing at their leader from time to time. One of the dog barked and acted like leader and took away the group of dogs. The dogs finally died.

Sam dragged the corpse of deer and dogs to nearby tree and started to collect firewood and ignited the fire. Their meal was ready after a hour. Sam and Manasa ate all of it. They looked very funny, especially Manasa she was smaller and thinner than Sam. Now you may think why didn't Sam kept it for later. The answer is very simple. The scent of blood will attract other beasts. If a mountain bear appeared then they will die for sure. The second reason fist for this

Sam was underestimating Manasa again. Anything related to life is like a object within reach of Manasa. If object enters her sight then she will take it otherwise it will just remain there. The dragons weren't proficient in anything related to soul so even though sealed some small trace of dao permits from it and enters into her body.

When Dao is comprehended it exist in the form of rune in the body and soul of cultivators. Different dao runes exist in different parts of cultivators. Some exist in physical body, some in souls and some in sea of consciousness. Dao of life exist in body so Manasa is obtaining these benefits without even knowing.

After eating Sam was content with today's hunt. They have already consumed and absorb enough Qi to advance to late stage of rank 2. After advancing to late stage of rank 2 Sam is thinking of causing troubles for jackals.
