There were many dangerous areas declared by the United Nations. The Himalayan region and it's peripheries was one of them. Big forest and grasslands weren't even public knowledge. Amazon's, Savannah etc were only known to people in higher position. All the knowledge regarding them were declared state secrets. It was to make public unaware what hidden dangers were lurking on earth under the noses of humans. What happened hundred years ago was taught in sequence and details are given more you are on higher level. You may think this is way too dramatic to be real but reality is that only over fifty million survived out of more than seven billion people survived. After all the analysis was done, scientists were shocked not because of low survival rate but because their calculations told them that only five hundred thousands could have survived the Apocalypse.

How can so many people survive when ninety nine percent of people of deserts and cold regions died. Almost all costal cities all over the world were destroyed. Most of the famous cities of Earth were actually costal cities. The damage done by crashed satellites and other asteroids which were revolving earth could be only said as disastrous. If anyone said beasts horde, many people would have fainted on the spot. In another word, survival chances of humans was very grim.

There was no communication because all satellites crashed. Humans had to use radio signals again. After a decade of fight with beasts they finally got peace which is kept till now. Only after three decades, situation became like it was in past. They had internet again, satellites to monitor earth and beasts. After five decades they invented laser cannons. They fixed it on satellites and started to fire it at the strongest beast. Beast of rank 2 died, rank 3 were injured gravely and some died but rank 4 only suffered minor injury. It was only for terrestrial beasts, what about beasts in water. Before they even had time to make plan for them strange beam came out of pacific ocean and destroyed every satellite that had fired the laser beam.

Scientists finally knew they were spared. Beasts never wanted to completely wipe out human. If they wanted they wouldn't be alive right now. After that, firing laser beam from space was stopped. The beast will not intervene if they used laser beam to kill the beasts which attacked the humans but if they killed a single beast in forest or ocean with the help of laser then the satellite will be destroyed.

It didn't stopped humans for developing new technology but instead inspired them. Who will sit still if they had sword hanging over their head with a thin thread. The thread could be broken anytime. So, they continued their research.

The senior which was receiving the report had unsightly appearance. The girl could tell that he wasn't happy. Other people may not know what it was but he knew. It was definitely a tribulation cloud. One of the beast of the forest had either overcame the tribulation and became rank 3 or died. The beasts have more chances of overcoming tribulation than humans because they have strong body and only go through tribulation when their body reached the strongest it could get according to their bloodline.

When the humans were on turmoil because the strongest humans were only in foundation establishment realm which was equal to rank 3 beast because of Sam, he was unconscious for ten days straight.

If any beings had suffered injuries like Sam they would have immediately died. Sam had suffered internal injuries from the initial lightning. He wasn't feeling that much pain because of strong lightning, his nerves became numb and couldn't pass correct data to his brain. He didn't stopped but started to shout madly. So, his nerves didn't had time to recover. One after another lightning strokes landed on him piling up the injuries. His scales may seem less damaged but his internal organs were fully fried before he passed out. All in all, Sam survived only due to system.

Where am I? Sam was looking around him and tried to move his body. He felt sharp pain from all over his body. What happened to me.
