Sam looked at the faction leaders with a very solemn face.
The faction leaders felt like something is wrong and one of them couldn't hold it and asked straight out.
"What happened?"
"God's interference. Another god is interfering with the statue summoning ritual. Zeus cannot talk to you for a while. It seems like the target on your backs is bigger than I thought.
Maybe this can also be considered as the testament to the Seven Star alliance's strength and soldiers."
Sam did not miss the chance to gas in some false praises here and there. The faction leaders felt their hearts run cold, but they all stood straight and proudly at the same time.
They really bought into all the crap that Sam said about them being excellent. One thing about the cultivators particularly the ones in the authority over a large territory is that they are a bunch of people that believed in themselves to the point that it's almost a joke.
