"I don't think we need to go in there, right?" Roken put down his shield on the ground and put his chin on top, watching Almond butchering the Pin-Furred Wolves.
"He's certainly having fun, so let's just observe," Julian said, his eyes intent on Almond. He was analyzing Almond as best as he could to learn.
As a swordsman, he was aware of foundations. His foundation of properly slashing the sword was established after he swung his sword over a hundred thousand times.
But Almond was appearing way past his level in his eyes.
'I know the cold truth…that talent exists,' Julian clenched his fist. 'Someone just progresses way faster in some things. But I don't believe that those without talent cannot reach their level.'
"I will reach his level."
Something was getting ablaze. It was on the verge of lighting up an inferno. But whether Julian would be able to light it up…only the future would tell.
