Graduation Party

Lavania gulped down another glass of vodka feeling slightly tipsy. She was so happy, so happy today that she could hardly supress the waves of excitement in her heart. She had just graduated from University of Havard, majoring in business analytics at a young age of 18. In fact, she was feeling so happy because she had been able to make her mother proud on her sick bed.

She had dragged her best friend, Nadia, to accompany her celebrate her success. They were currently at Luxury Oak Plaza, a high end hotel in Boston, and Lavania was chattering non-stop to Nadia, her face flushed red from having too much alcohol.

Calling for the waiter, Lavania ordered for another bottle of vodka.

"That's enough Lavania. Look at you now. You can hardly sit straight from drinking too much yet you want more?" Nadia scolded lightly while Lavania giggled foolishly.

"You know..." Nadia's phone rang before Lavania could complete her statement. Checking the caller ID, Nadia took her phone and stood up.

"Lavania, I got to take this call. Wait for me, I'll be right back." She then turned to the waiter, "Don't let her have another drink." The waiter nodded politely. With that Nadia walked away to take her call.

"Hello," Nadia said in a hushed tone after finding a safe place to stand. She darted her eyes around checking to make sure there was no one around there. Confirming that, she let out a sigh of relief and concentrated on her call.

"Is everything done?" Asked the person on the other side of the line.

"Uh-huh! Mission accomplished. No need to worry. She has drunk herself silly." Nadia laughed in a low tone.

"Good. Everything over here is settled. Just make sure to get her into room 508 tonight."

"Definitely! I will make sure she gets there without a hitch," said Nadia in a proud tone.

"I know I can count on you," said the person on the other side of the line and chuckled sinisterly. "Awww... My dear sister. Let's see how you'll escape from my crutches this time." She then let out a cruel laugh which gave Nadia goosebumps. She hurriedly ended the call and walked towards Lavania with a fake caring smile plastered across her face.

...

"Na...Nadia... where... were you al...all this while," Lavania stuttered as she spoke. She could barely sit straight.

"Look at you...so drunk. How can you even go home in this state?" Nadia carried out perfectly her 'caring friend act'.

Lavania smiled foolishly in response to her. "You're here... so I... I don't care."

Nadia chuckled slowly. "You're right, I'm here," after a while, she said, "Come on, let's go." Nadia supported Lavania and led the way as she frowned, for Lavania reeked of alcohol. She couldn't wait to get Lavania off her so she could finally breath fresh air.

Inside a private room where a business meeting took place, a strikingly handsome man sat. Sipping his red wine, he wore a cold face with an imposing aura surrounding him.

"So, Mr. President, what do you think?" Another businessman said, pushing the contract towards the handsome man.

With an indifferent look on his face, Gregory glimpsed at it and coldly said, "I'll think about it."

Chuckling, CEO Cruz said, "Of course, you have all the time in the world to think about it. Excuse me for a moment," with that he grabbed his phone and walked out of the private room to make a call.

"Is everything ready?" CEO Cruz asked the other person on the line.

"Of course. What do you think?" Said the other person, wearing an evil smile.

"It better be. There should be no room for mistakes," CEO Cruz replied and hung up the call.

Staring at her phone, Jasmine's lips curled into a sinister smile.

"Tsk... Sweet sister of mine. Enjoy yourself with the old man tonight, right....?" She spoke to herself, hatred oozing out of every fiber of her entire being.

...

Returning to the private room after the call, he said to Gregory, "Mr. President, I guess since you're still thinking about my proposal, then I deduce our meeting ends here."

Gregory merely glanced at him and walked out of the private room.

"Hmph! How haughty!" CEO Cruz scoffed, displeased. He then turned to his assistant and said, "Follow him, make sure he enters room 508."

"Yes boss," his assistant meekly replied and headed out to carry out his assignment.

Still standing in the private room, CEO Cruz smiled and thought to himself, "I hope you thoroughly enjoy your gift tonight."

It was said that the young president of MH conglomerate immensely disliked women but he thought otherwise. Which man on this earth could withstand a woman's seduction, and a pure woman's own at that?

...

Gregory entered his suite and took off the his suit. He could barely contain his rage from bursting out during that so called business meeting. It clearly revolved around a conversation about women. And what did that CEO Cruz think? Inviting strippers into the room during a business meeting.

If it hadn't been for his grandfather forcing him to attend such a meeting for the sake of his 'friendship ties' he would have never entertained something as appalling as that.

Still feeling annoyed, Gregory entered the bathroom for a quick shower.

Slowly opening her eyes, Lavania tried to sit up, feeling extremely dizzy. First, she had low alcohol tolerance. Having drunk so much tonight, she could barely keep her eyes open.

Gregory was done showering after a few minutes. Coming out of the bathroom, water trickled down his face. His handsome face was so well defined and chiseled and his stomach abs were so alluring.

Lavania rubbed her eyes several times to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. Who was this drop-dead gorgeous man who looked like a god that had descended on earth, blessing mere mortals with his presence? Staring at him for a while, Lavania let out a silly giggle, catching Gregory's attention.

Hearing the giggle, Gregory finally noticed the unwanted presence in his room. His emotions changed from shock into confusion then finally into anger. What was wrong with all these women?! What the hell went through their minds that they could not wait to through themselves on him?

That moment, Gregory wanted nothing more than to through this nuisance out of his suite.
