Chapter 18: An Offer He Cannot Refuse

Ray found himself cornered inside the room when he regained his memories of the battle against Eto. Obviously Ray is furious at himself that he was tricked by Eto and lead her directly into his own safehouse that he wonder if he might had accidentally turned into a retard.

"So, what do you think?" Eto asked while seated on the chair in reverse and hugging the backrest while looking at Ray who resigned from escaping because he simply couldn't and Eto have his people as hostage.

"No." Ray grit his teeth as he refused to let go his only advantage in this negotiation, his magical power.

Eto offered Ray position and authority within Aogiri Tree as one of the executive and his own group to himself and no one else can order them. In exchange he share to Eto the secret to obtain magical power and the food that Ghoul can eat.

There is no guarantee that Eto will keep her words. Not to mention she is stronger than Ray himself which mean, he cannot even defend himself if Eto decided to turn on him once she milked all his worth just like the first time she tricked and manipulated him to reveal his own hideout.

Eto started to get tired of this. She used many methods to convince Ray into joining hand with her but because of the bad start between them, even an olive brance look like a barbed vine to Ray. She is honestly out of ways to convince him other than resorting to coercion or blackmailing. Which she is trying to avoid because an partnership base on those rarely last long and Ray will definitely trying to backstab her whenever possible.

Looking at his defiant eyes, Eto knew speaking logic and benefits to win him over wouldn't work as he is currently in a highly emotional state and whatever positive words that came out her mouth will be interpreted as negative.

An idea came to her mind which made her grin. She remembered that Ray is quite weak to advances like teasing. Which leaves him blushing and flustering very easily.

She climb off her seat and crawl on her bed, closer to Ray which slowly retreated until his back is against the corner of the wall.

"W-What are you t-trying to d-do!?" Ray panicked when she slowly undressed herself while grinning and playfully swaying her body like a playful cat approaching her prey.

Ray gulped at the sight before he quickly shut his eyes closed and reciting prayer to all gods out there in his mind. In his entire thirty plus years old, he never had much of close contact with any female but his family members and much less a love life. He stayed virgin his entire life and became a certified wizard. His only companion is his hand and offbrand sites for his entire life. To see such stimulating view… 'Amibatha I must not be swayed by the temptation. I must…' Ray prayed fervently until he felt a pair of hand touched his body which prompted him to take a peek. He saw two jiggly peak and a smirk before he quickly shut his eyes closed and prayed even harder than before like his life is hanging on it.

"What am I doing?" Eto repeated the question before moving her lips to be next to his ear before answering with a sensual voice. "To show my sincerity of course. Since you won't believe me, then I can only do this to show you the extend of my willingness to make you my ally or even partner instead of enemy."

Before Ray have the opportunity to say she could be just another bitch that slept with anyone to get whatever she wanted, he felt her taking his hand and guiding his finger into a hot and squirming hole which elicited a small intentional moan next to his ears that followed with a whisper. "The seal of my purity is still intact as you can feel. If you wondered." Ray confirmed the statement with an elastic barrier that prevented his finger from entering deeper.

It was at this moment that Ray understand something. Eto is a crazy woman by definition but also hot too which make him scared of her yet simultaneously aroused by it. He remembered the words of a wise man to not put his D in crazies but… God be damned it's incredibly difficult to restrain himself as he can feel the meat folds around his finger constrict and squeeze as if it was milking a cow udders.

"What do you think?" Eto whispered again which pulled Ray from his wild imagination that compensating his lack of visual stimuli.

Ray gulped as the word 'No' is incredibly hard to say.

"N…"

"Hmn? Say it louder."

"No… I said no. No. I-I won't be easily t-tricked!" Ray said defiantly but his resolve become shaky at each passing moment.

Hearing the rejection, Eto didn't stopped because she knew that Ray need a little more push. She look at the tent on his crotch and grab it, making Ray release a gasp and opened his eyes wide to fully experience the view that she showed to him.

"All I asked is for you to share your magic with me and no one else for me to take vengence against the Washuu clan. They are your enemies too. So, it benefits both of us. As for the food, the reason why Ghoul cannot live in peace is because Ghoul can only eat human but your food will allow us to create a peaceful world where Ghoul and Human can live together in peace. You will be hailed as hero and saviour. Both benefits both of us and in exchange, I offer you my body, my mind and my heart. It's a win for both of us."

"So, what do you think?" She cusped his face and stared at his dazed eyes.

Ray was thinking over what Eto stated despite his clouded mind and found no reason to reject really if plus how she promised him and his group autonomy from the rest of the Aogiri Tree despite being part of it.

He locked eyes with Eto for a moment and exchanged gaze before he accepted the offer, thinking he will get some sexy action only for Eto to switch her personality with a flick of switch and got off him. Leaving Ray confused and blue balled.

"So, teach me your magic first." She put back on her baggy shirt and sitting on her chair. Seeing his confusion and betrayed look, Eto explained. "You have to show me the goods first."

Ray would have immediate call bullshit and expecting himself being tricked again if not for a sudden notification that interrupted him and also convinced him to place his trust on her.

[Ally candidate detected.]

[Condition to recruit Ally is;

1. Give Eto Yoshimura access to Dungeon menu system.

2. Show Eto Yoshimura how to procure food from dungeon.]

[Condition to recruit Ally as permanent companion is;

1. Kill and destroy all the organization, V.

2. Extermination of Washuu clan.]

The difference between Ally which is what Layla currently is and 'permanent companion' are, the latter one will basically abandon all their affiliation and join his group while Ally will still be affiliated to their group but can be summoned to battle. Just like Layla who is an Ally and she still staying in Elven forest instead of with Ray outside the dungeon. But Eto by far is the only one with permanent companion recruitment option and the requirements is quite daunting to achieve but not impossible since those are her goal and Ray just need to support her to get there and he will have her just like she promised…

While Ray will doubt Eto's own words, he wouldn't doubt the PIP Quest Log that had never failed him.

"Fine, but I want you to promise to keep the secret to yourself only." Ray instantly sobered up from the previous shenanigans and stated his condition.

"I will. Pinky promise. So hurry up, I can't wait to learn magic and cast spells" Eto mimicked spell casting from fictions using her pen on the table as a wand.

Ray highly doubts she will keep her promise but what can do at this stage but to hope she will keep her words.

Half an hour later, after Ray give Akira and the others a visit to tell them everything is alright and the become buddy with Eto. He left the Aogiri Tree base and enter a nearest dungeon with Eto.

Ray just picked one on the Map at random and ended up at this particular dungeon.

[Sky Kingdom Ruin]

Upon entering the corridor, Ray and Eto is standing on a small floating rock in the cloud the size of around 4x6m and in front of him is whole floating islands with castle, fortress, building and etc.

The concept of dungeon getting stretched more and more with the dungeon lately. No longer going underground like the definition of dungeon but a floating islands with a city on it. But this begs the question, how does he going to get across any of these islands?

Ray first give Eto a quick rundown of the dungeon menu and show her the skills sections where she can acquire levels that will give one skill points per levels that can be use to ontain or upgrade skills.

"Wow, feel just like a game. So, we going to kill monster next?"

"Pretty much, yeah." Ray nodded and approach the stone arched door that attached to nothing. It just there until Ray entered the dungeon, which the stone door pushed open to reveal a portal.

Along with Eto, he entered the first stage which is the smallest of the five floating islands which have a fortress armed with what seems to be giant crossbows or ballista but in severe disrepair and unusable.
