Chapter 1- how it begins

This novel might be kinda complicated at first but things will be better and clear around ten chapters. Vampire and werewolf stories have been my favorite ever since I could even remember. Adding up some superpower things is like my life so please bear with me as we start this voyage. Some of the names might be familiar to those from some countries but trust me everything here is fictional

Raven Love Cruz.

The world is one crazy thing where the rich overpower the poor, the strong overpower the weak, and the lucky overpower the unlucky. It is something we can't express in words because we'll view it on different footpaths starting from our family background and our surroundings.

My world has always been dark gray, with no colors, raging and bloody.

Wars raged, nations fell, chaos reigned and people tore each other like life never mattered. It has always been like that in Aries. In wars between different races, each race desires to be in control of the others. Innocent people lost their lives, Innocent animals were slaughtered, and everything smelled nothing but blood. It was chaotic. Women and children were sold into slavery. There was no one to trust. It was like a game, Kill or be Killed.

The night of the 4th month was freezing. That was especially true in Aries, located between the northern feared forests of Aries.

"Dad is so weak," I heard a cocky voice from a distance. "Let's run when we still can." Another authoritative voice shouted. I leaned my head on the tree trunk and stared at the dark sky. It has always been like this for five consecutive years. I adjusted my thin shirt and wrapped my hands around myself, attempting to create some heat.

I have always hated cold, mainly because I was too poor and couldn't afford clothes that shielded me from the cold. Being poor aside, I was too weak to even defend myself let alone steal from some wealthy punks who had tons of warm jackets and didn't have to spend their nights under a chilling big Mangrove tree.

"Shit," I cursed aloud, alongside my thoughts. It was happening again. Someone had discovered me again. I could sense them. I smell them. They are close to me. "Darn," I hissed quietly as I focused my eyes.

Here's the one abnormal thing about me. I was born to parents of different races. My mother used to be a werewolf and my dad was a hybrid, just like me. That makes me a quarter a vampire, three-quarters a werewolf.

I heard their paws on the ground. "I can't be discovered." I thought to myself as I got up on my feet and started running in the opposite direction. They chased after me. I heard their breathing as they ran after me.

I swiftly ran, dodging the bullets that were firing at me. I was now sure of their identity. They were Hunters from the human race who hunted down werewolves and vampires since they never considered us as human beings. We were Monsters in their eyes. And I was beyond a monster. Hybrids were confirmed beyond the devil since nobody could ever predict how evil they could become when frustrated. We were hunted down and slaughtered like wild animals. We died a miserable death and the bodies were tossed into a pit. They never cared to give them a proper burial.

Apart from being a hybrid, one of the strongest races in Aries, I also had a fire ability. These kinds of freaks you always watch in movies. The people who could burn everything to ashes. Our power was unexplained. A few people knew about my existence and those who knew, were terrified of me.

"What the hell is he to make our Supreme terrified of him that much?" one growled. "A hybrid with fire, " another hissed.

I hid myself behind a tree trunk and watched them searching for me. They eyed each other as if they had seen through my cheap tricks. I closed my eyes with a sigh, I hated fighting anyone but I wasn't gonna let them take me for a fool. I lifted my hands at them. I made them drop their guns and made them strangle each other.

I bumped their foreheads on a tree trunk before sending them flying backward. I heard their bones crack but that was only the beginning of their tragic and miserable death. I have killed many Hunters who came after me. It was their fault, to begin with.

"I can't let another Hunter discover my well-being." I shook my head. I let my eyes glow red as I sniffed blood. My fangs were desperate to tear every piece of flesh from their bodies. After all, they were humans with fresh blood

I heard them let out a growl. I dropped my hands and let them free. I decided to just walk away from them since I couldn't take the smell of blood anymore. They ran after me and one grabbed my already torn shirt, pulling it off me and leaving me with barely anything to shield me from the chilling cold.

I gave them a chance. They came after me. He lifted me in the air and he let out a chuckle "That's all you've got?" The other laughed. I sighed in the hands of the stranger, one mistake and I would be down. My demon was now yearning for blood. It has been ages since he last tasted fresh blood. I drank blood from blood bags. I hated the idea of feeding on a human. I stretched my hands up and stared at the other human dead in the eyes. I let my eyes glow red as I ordered him to walk deep in the forest without looking back. He did as I commanded. I gritted my teeth as I jumped down and glanced at the other man.

"Shoot him," I commanded. He shot his fellow and laid limp on the ground. An evil smirk made its way to the corner of my lips as the thought of drinking fresh blood after a long period hit me. They brought this upon themselves. I jumped on him and sank my fangs into his neck. I drank to my satisfaction before I finally decided to walk as far as I could from that place.

I was neither part of the pack nor banished from the pack so I smell like a regular human. I got a perfume from my mother that helps me hide my wolf but I have no idea how the Hunters find me every time I think that 'I'm finally free'.

I let my wolf out. He was black and white. He comes out and stretches before sniffing. He looks into the air and lets out a growl. That was the dumbest thing I predicted he could do out of excitement. I didn't want to attract other wolves. I didn't want to be part of the pack. I was different from them all.

"Let's get out of here before someone else comes," I told him
