My name is Amanda Peters. I never once thought that in my whole life, i would be this terrified. This is a story of how i almost lost everyone i ever loved. This is "My Story"...

The sound of mom's voice woke me up in an instant. I got out of bed reluctantly and saw the time was 7:45am

"Fuck I'm so dead" I quickly knelt down, said my prayers and went to have my bath. I put a comb through my hair and went downstairs to have my breakfast. There in the kitchen, i saw mom packing me lunch for school. I smiled and planted a quick kiss on her cheek. I rushed breakfast and quickly carried my bag as I said

"Bye mom" and she replied saying

"Bye darling come back soon"....

It has been seventeen years since dad died. I never knew him. I was told he died before i was born. She never mentioned how he died and I didn't ask because I thought i might open up a scar that has been sealed deep down in her heart. Whenever i brought up the topic about dad, i always see a worried look on her face so i didn't ask her about dad again and decided to love my life without him as I trusted that to be the best decision he would have wanted me to take.

I got to school by 8:20am. Alley's high was a school that wasn't too big or too small, it was just the write size. My past school was a french school for rich kids and to be honest, i didn't like the school that much, that was why i told mom that i wanted to change school. Now i go to Alley's high school and i was a grade 12 student. My teacher, Miss Valentine was the nicest teacher in the school. She was by both students and teachers. Even though most of the students who attended Alley's high weren't rich, she would always say that everyone was equal regardless of who they might be and that's something mom usually, so I took her as my Aunt at school.

I opened the door to my classroom slowly when i spotted the mathematics teacher and also the school principal, Mr Wayne, standing close to the board with a long stick. I was pretty sure he was gonna hit me for late coming so i was kinda prepared. I put on a strong, bold face, opened the door a little bit wider a walked into the classroom.

"Good morning sir" i said as i hurried over to my seat.....

"Stop right there!" I immediately stopped and turned to face him

"Yes sir..."

"Is this a thing you kids planned? " he asked rather seriously

"What thing sir?" I asked looking at him with a confused face.

"LATE COMING" he shouted

"I'm sorry sir, i thought i set the alarm but I didn't and overslept and...." he didn't allow me to explain and interrupted

"Unbelievable ". I knew that the matter won't end right here so i had to plead my ass off.

The bell rang and we all went to the cafeteria. I sat down with two of my best friends, Mia and Owen

"Yo Ardi, i thought we left home early yesterday, why did you over sleep? " Mia asked

"Oh i stayed up all night watching a movie and trust me when i say that the movie is out of this world" I replied and Owen laughed

"Ardi, Ardi, Ardi"

"What and why do you guys always call me Ardi " I questioned

"Oh c'mon it's cute" Mia said and I laughed. We went back to our classroom and i saw Miss Valentine. I smiled at her and she smiled back while telling us that tomorrow is bring your parents to school day. The bell rang and the three of us went home. My house was the last on the block so I had to walk home alone after saying goodbye to Mia and Owen. I bought some bandages for mom. She worked hard this past few days. She never hired any worker saying that she could do it all on her own. I opened the door and walked into the house and said ....

"Mama, i got you something " i dropped in on the table and looked around when there was no answer , i called her. Her phone rang and i turned and saw it on the T.V rack.

"Mom, mom where are you? Mom where did you. ..." I voice trailed off as i saw drops of red liquid, I knelt down and touched it, it was " blood "
