Hugo Castle 1

I woke up back in the room in the subway area like nothing happened. I couldn't remember anything well and for some reason my head was aching.

"What the hell just happened?" I said to myself.

"You really don't remember? A voice said.

"Somebody there?!" I said staying alert.

I looked around the room trying to figure out where the voice was coming from, but everytime I took a step to move around I kept seeing flashbacks of a pool of blood and people laid across the ground. Was this my doing? It couldn't have been. Had I really become a monster? I looked in the mirror trying to calm myself down. I was becoming too anxious. 

"What's wrong buddy? What's been bothering you?" 

"I did something bad. Something really really bad."  

"You can handle it, you always handle it. You're the Rampage."

"I don't know if I can this time." 

"Hey,Hey you can handle it plus you have me with you there's nothing to worry about."

"You're right." 

"Has there ever been a time where I didn't get us out of something." 

"No, you always do." 

"Exactly so I can get us out of this one too." 

"What if he's right and I'm just a killer. A fake. A poser who thinks he's a hero" 

"If there is anyone in the world that deserves the title of hero it's you." 

"I don't know Hugo." 

"Hey you've saved lives more than any officer or any firefighter or anyone you are a hero." 

"You really think so?"

"Yes, so wipe those tears for me okay."

"Okay." 

"Trying to save everyone is exhausting. You've pushed yourself too far so how about you let me take over? Is that fine?" 

"Yeah it's fine. I'm tired." 

"Let's get you some rest."
