Chapter 32,

A Little Training,

Third Person's POV

After the party, Riven took the kids home after sending Kimmi and Hoshi to their homes and the twins to their master, Athena. Riven was giving Koshiro a little battle with him for a reason or two.

"Is it okay to have training this late? We have battles for tomorrow, you know." Gin yawed, feeling a little sleepy.

"Of course, Koshiro need some sleep for tomorrow, but right now, to be blunt, he's inferior at a glance. I'll train him by fighting him," Riven exhaled, emitting smoke from his mouth.

"It's okay, I don't mind. Besides, that one is true. Without Aeris, I wouldn't have survived until now. Besides, I don't level up when Aeris is taking over me, it's just a rare occurrence. I need to train to use Crimson Gale freely, too. Special now that my wind magic reached 15," Koshiro looked a little depressed in his situation.

"15? You're the only one I know who level up that fast," Goro laughed.

"That's the same for you, who's already a hundred level away from mine," Koshiro chucked faintly with envy.

"You. . . This is what you get for not using Sword-Type characters. The Capital of the Knights are named like that since they're at the center of this world. It's real name is the Capital of Swords. In this continent, this one's different from the other two, and known as the biggest. Unlike you guys, we from center of this continent takes long before we reach out full level," he sighed, then added, "Those from the Neutral Land only has Level 25 as their highest, 500, from the swords, 100 for mages or the Witches and Wizards or Sorcerers, 125 for the Spartans, 50 for Elves and Archers, and No level requirement for Gods,"

"You know a lot, huh? But, I already know that, since I've played almost all different races," Koshiro looked at them smugly.

"Enough of that, let's start to finish early," Riven interrupted, "Koshiro, try to use a strategy, any weapon, or even high-level spells or skill when you fight in the battle, but avoid using the Crimson Gale as much as possible. We can't let you lose, you're my Apprentice, after all," As always, he wasn't looking at whoever he's talking with. With that attitude, many guys was pissed of and fought with him.

"The enemy wouldn't give you time to prepare, of wait for you to take the first step at all times, Now, start," Without warning, Riven took the initiative to strike first, drawing his sword.

"Sword, become a whip," Koshiro chanted, making the sword light up with the color of green and becoming long, which us a whip embedded with Mana and Magical powers.

In this world, Mana aren't magical powers. Mana is like an energy that is existing in every living and nonliving things, but magical powers is the other form of Mana that are converted into it using one's core. Without a core, magical powers can't be made. In other words, nonliving things can't have magical powers unless they are embedded with one. If you embed magical powers inside, it takes a lot, but if you create an artificial core inside made out of magical stones, one can have power, or even life, which is a hard thing to do. It requires great manipulation and high magical powers and Mana.

Back to the battle, Koshiro stepped back as usual, and swinged his whip towards Riven's direction, but he was able to dodge it. Flashing in front of him, Koshiro changed his whip back into a sword and defended the attack. He went above the trees and stroked multiple arrows at a time.

"With the flow of the falling waterfall, I beseech for your power, Undine, lend me your power, Mirage Rain!" Chanting as fast as he could, Koshiro disappeared out of everyone's sight, shocking them.

On the air, the arrow that Koshiro unleashed fell down with the rain. Slowly, the pouring rain became arrows and attacked Riven, and seemed to not have an end.

After the fast pouring of the rain, Koshiro was still nowhere to be found. Not above the trees, or even in their view. Before Riven could react on time, his foot was binded by two green glowing whip, which was from two Koshiros inside the water.

He could hear them chant, "Water Magic, Hidden Skill, Hidden Sea Domain."

Hidden Sea Domain is not a real domain, to begin with. It's like the world created inside the water, but the user who created it doesn't have any control in it, except from being able to control anyone he traps from outside. In other words, Hidden Domains are skills that gives the caster in full control on whoever made contact with the outer shield.

"You've gotten better, huh?" Riven didn't even tried to struggle

In front of him, Koshiro made his appearance by slowly coming out of the water like he was from another world, or something. He was carrying no weapon, but something is wrong with his hand.

"Wind the blows, Wind the sings, Sing me your song, Sing it aloud, Echoes of the Gale!" With his chant, the wind started to blow into a breeze.

Everyone looked flustered for Koshiro since his spell doesn't seem to work. But when Riven was about to attack, the wind started to abruptly blow and enveloped Koshiro. Slowly opening his mouth to speak, Koshiro inhaled as much as wind he could. He voice it out with a loud shout, and Riven, who he was facing was hit by the strong gush of wind like a strong echo and it dulled his hearing. He felt like his ears are blocked and a bit heavy than it felt before. It bled and he vomited quite a quantity of blood. Koshiro, on the other hand, tries his best to ignore him, since he's just gonna tell him to continue the fight. He agreed, he'll end it with his win.

"Not bad," Riven went to his stance.

"Flame, core of fire, cover my sword," with his chant, the sword started to burn, not with ordinary fire, but with Flame, the core of fire.

Fire magic have other Sub Elements and Flame is one of those. Sometimes, Sub Elements are stronger than the Main Element, and Fire Magic is the example. From fire, there's flame, the core of fire, or flare, the bursting fire. These also applies in other Elements.

"Kao," Koshiro summoned forth Kao, "Can you dispel that?" He asked.

"Flame, huh? Of course, it's a piece of cake!" She proudly said.

Inside, she thought, 'My Water Magic is special that it can dispel all fire type magic except for Two-Elemental Sub Elements,'

She snapped her finger, "Undine's Blessing."

When Riven came attacking, he cut off the magic on his feet. The water on the ground dispelled the fire and restrained him in the process. He was able to cut the water, but he wasn't able to evade bite from behind. It was Saber, all right.

"W-when did you. . ." Riven was struggling from multiple bites from Saber on different parts of his body. He just realized that the Hidden Sea Domain is still activated from underneath, added to it was Saber's camouflage skill.

"You said, strategy," Koshiro looked at him with a simple smile.

Koshiro came attacking towards him using his sword, but he was defended by a fast movement from Riven, "Anything to say?" he said pointing at Koshiro on the neck.

"Should I be the one saying that?" Koshiro appeared from behind slowly.

He disappeared because of Saber's skill, and his sword was multiplied by Saber, too, who was with him the whole time.

"My strategy is simple. From the start, my goal is not to defeat you, but win this battle. From when I chanted the first skill, I used the water to make myself into a droplet of water and created the Hidden Domain. I summoned Saber there and told him to make different clones. The two to restrain, the other me, and many Sabers," Koshiro revealed his strategy.

"You would've been seen on the water if you summoned him there. How?" Riven added another question.

Koshiro replied, "Easy. I didn't summoned Saber inside the Hidden Domain, but in the outside. Using the Domain, I made us into water droplets before he could appear in front of you. You have control over the barrier of the Hidden Domain, right? Saber created the other me in front of where we are to conceal our presence, and uses it to attack you. The last is simple, k used camouflage to hide us two, and drawn my sword. I told Saber to multiply it and use levitation to make it float. Well, that's basically it," His further explanation shocked Riven and the audiences.

"I didn't know you planned this from the beginning. You're one unpredictable brat," Riven chucked in satisfaction.

"Well then, let's sleep." Hiruki called out as they left the place.

"You were incredibly strong there," Hiruki complemented Koshiro.

"Is that so? It must have been the proof of my hard work," he chuckled.

I hope we can win tomorrow, it's the final selection, after all," Hiruki smiled.

"You're right. So much time had passed since we've been here. We have to get stronger and stronger," Koshiro held his hand into the ceiling.

"For that to happen, we need rest," Hiruki reminded.

"You're right. Good Night!" Koshiro gave his kindest, reassuring smile.

Hiruki, on the other side, was shocked, "Good Night," he replied.
