"Go on" her eye brows raised. Oliver then narrated all that happened. He started from where he had beaten Victor up till where victor beat him too. Evelyn was a bit disappointed that Oliver got ahead of himself.
"Nobody was there to witness it, except Alice. But am sure he must have spread the news himself. I'll find in school tomorrow anyways." He stopped his narration there.
"That won't be possible though." She hated to burst his bubbles but she had to.( she had to burst his bubbles before they became bigger rii? )
"Why?" Oliver was determined to face whatever hit him the next day so he was surprised when Evelyn said it won't be possible.
"Well I heard your mother saying you won't be going to school for the next three days." She knew he was going to be distraught by the news but she had to tell him so he won't keep his hopes up too high.
"No way! I am going to school" the only reason Oliver wanted to go to school anyways was for Alice.( some people would be happy that there was a reason to not go to school. Hahaha!)
"I don't think you have a say on this" Evelyn said.
"But aunt Evelyn what about Alice?" He was worried about her. He never felt his stupidity would put him in a situation where he could be there to protect her.
"Am sure she would be able to take care of herself."
"I don't think so aunt."
"She will, so trust her."
Aunt Evelyn didn't really understand that Alice was really vulnerable. Oliver was worried, he figured out he would go and talk to his mom himself. Evelyn knew it was pointless, his mother never changed her mind whenever she made a decision.
"Am going to my mom." Oliver tried to get off the bed on his own but he felt a lot of pain.
"I think I agree with your mom. You can't even get up on your own." She said worried and went to help him up.
"I'll be fine before tomorrow morning." He replied quite irritated.
"If you say so." She helped him to the door.
" I think I'll be fine on my own aunt Evelyn. Thank you." He left her and walked down to the end of the path where his mom's room was. He knocked on the door and waited for her to let him in.
"The door is open. Come in." His mom spoke.
He opened the door, walked in and closed the door after. Her room was colored white with a few paintings of her hanging on the walls. Her curtains were black and down. Her big bed was in the center, her bedsheet was black with lots of red rose designs on it. She had cream colored bedside lamps on each side of her bed and they were dimly lit.( You know if it was my room I would paint it dark blue, I'll have black curtains also, my sheets would be black, I would have paintings of black hearts being punctured by black daggers and I'll have no bed side lamps cause I love my room completely dark. )
His mom laid in the middle of the bed with her phone in her hand. She looked down and watched him limp towards her bed. He sat down at the edge and looked at his mom.
"If you are here to convince me to let you go to school tomorrow then am not interested in listening." Well seems like his mom had already made up Her mind.
"Why? I'll be fine before tomorrow morning so why do you have to keep me locked up here?" He asked
"I am not keeping you locked up! I am only getting you enough time to rest and healed up." She replied
"But mom..." she cut him off.
"No buts. You should know am not gonna let you go. I am not changing my mind. Final!"
Seems like Oliver finally realized there was nothing he could do. 'I just hope she'll be fine' he thought.
"Okay mom." He relented without a fight.
"Good. Did you have dinner?" She asked completely over the topic of him going to school.
" I did mom." He replied not too jovial though.
"Okay. Do you want to stay in my room tonight? I don't mind I'll make space for you." She asked him with all honesty( which was really funny though.)
"Oh! no no no! I'll be fine on my own." He stood up preparing to leave. "In my room." He added.
(You still haven't dropped comments for your name suggestions. I'll be waiting.)
