Axel was disappointed. 'Just an ordinary sword?' he thought. He had high expectations of the reward. He had heard the tales of legendary swords like Durandal, Excalibur and Flaming sword and hoped that his sword would be as powerful as them, but the reality was cruel.

Lucifer had a smile on his face. He controlled his emotions and didn't tease Axel while seeing his face.

"Don't be sad. I have good news" said Lucifer.

"And What is that?" "Since I am also a sword wielder, I could give you some pointers. I don't use the curved sword like you but I am well versed in basics. However, you would be training on almost all types of

weapons."

"Why should I? Won't I be wasting my time? I may not be able to master even one of them."

"That is where you are wrong. I am not saying to you master all types of weapons. However, you must have basic knowledge of every one of them. There are 4 benefits for it:

1. It would give you a diverse set of skills. You would be proficient and versatile in a worse situation which could save your life

2. Having a basic knowledge of all of the weapons would broaden your horizon which would be helpful in many ways, like creating your own fighting style.

3. You have chosen your weapon by only evaluating it for 15 days. It is a short time. May you would change your mind after some time.

4. You would be a fast learner. Not only in weapons but in other things too. This is something that I have personally witnessed."

Axel nodded his head. He had just chosen his weapon of choice by evaluating for 15 days. It was a short time. Maybe he would get some insight on other weapons too. It was too early to decide anything. Plus, he liked the idea of creating his own fighting style.

"We would be training for 20 hours from tomorrow. 5 hours would be the basic training. 1 hour of rest. And the next 14 hours would be for weapons. We would be training the following weapons:

1. Sword

2. Daggers

3. Bow

4. Chains

5. Staff

6. Axe

7. Body

Yes, the Body is also a weapon if it is used like one. However, you will only touch other weapons after you reach Beginner realm in the sword."

"Beginner realm? How many realms are there?" asked Axel curiously "There are 6 realms in sword mastery. They are:

1. Beginner

2. Intermediate

3. Master

4. Sword Origin

5. Sword Soul

6. Sword Saint

Beginner to Master realms is called Mortal realms. The master realm is the peak of Mortal realm.

1. Beginner realm: A swordsman would have basic knowledge about the sword. This just means that you would have to ingrain the sword movement inside your body. Your body reflex and muscle memory would be heightened.

2. Intermediate realm: A swordsman would combine their basic knowledge with other knowledge, like movement techniques, dodging techniques, slashing techniques and many more. The swordsman has to find the way of the sword.

3. Master realm: This is the realm, the swordsman would be able to create sword qi. The swordsman would also have to improve his way of the sword."

"What about other realms?" asked Axel

"First reach the master realm. Then we would talk about other realms." Said Lucifer twitching his eyebrows. One of Axel's mentality that Lucifer found annoying was his ambition. Axel always thought that accomplishing a task or reaching a realm is too easy a task for him. He overestimates himself. The same thing had happened 2 months ago when Axel said to complete the workouts on the very first day. Lucifer made a mental note to change this behavior of Axel.

Axel had expected this quest. But he didn't expect was the reward. It was Unknown. This reward made the little guy curious. What would the reward be? Will the reward depend on the time taken to complete it? Or would it be related to Sword training? No matter the case, Axel thought to give his 100% in the training.

"Now, the first thing you need to learn in any weapon art is how to hold a sword. Bellow the blade of the sword, where you hold the sword is its handle or sword handle. You could use one hand or 2 hands to hold a sword but for the basic, we would use 2 hands. Use your dominant hand to hold the top of the handle and your non-dominant hand to hold the bottom of the handle. This position gives you more flexibility when you use slash, chop or even parry."
