Again and Again and Again and Again...

"Why is there ominous rifts in the sky?" Avis asked with a nervous chirp as everyone stood on top the roof, staring at the cracks in reality beginning to form. One crack began to form above Diminutive and the dragon's skull was caved in by an enormous steampunk styled sky ship.

"Woah... Hey, does this mean multiverse theory is correct?" Vinea asked with a slight laugh as another tear began to open above Desires. "Iyu always said there were other worlds, I just never listened to her explanations." Nvr said with a chilling laugh as she took off her bridal hood.

Sand began to pour into the domain before a furnished and ornate colosseum dropped down into the centre of Desires. The ground shook as it landed, everyone barely able to keep their balance as the mansion began to shake.

"I suppose we should save the world, huh?" Tika smirked and grabbed Ven's body before jumping off the mansion. "W-Wait, w-we still don't have a ride!" Avis yelled as she flew after her, quickly joined by Panila. Vex gave a playful skip and jumped away as Nvr shifted into her combat form. 

"Come on Vines." She smiled, picking Vinea up and carrying him over shoulder as Senshi crawled into his hood. Grey gave Biz a nod goodbye as he shifted into a scarf and wrapped around Nvr's neck before she leapt off after the others. "Don't die, Senshi!" Arachne yelled with a wave of her claws. Tophina let out a low growl and went off to go and feast on anything she could find as Uma stood next to Biz.

"You reckon they'll actually win?"

"I've given up all hope already, but I'd say we best get ready for the end." Biz sighed, watching as everyone left. Though she looked to the ground to see her mercs had all somehow managed to survive Detainment and had come back to her like loyal dogs.

"Then wanna drink our feelings away?" Uma smirked, heading back inside as Biz followed.

"I suppose I could drink."

Rat was sat idly at the peak of the Spire of Stars, casually pulling an energy drink out of Iyu as she sat on a beach chair made of light, staring at the sun. "So you were bluffing when you said you didn't have a plan, right?" Iyu asked with her usual smile as Rat took a sip of her drink, trying her best not to laugh.

"Nah. I really don't know what I'm doing. Something about Mollia is gonna remind me." She said with a casual thumbs up, looking over to Pandora, who was concentrating her power into opening a swirling portal at the centre of the white pillared peak. "How long till ya finish, robit?" 

"Approximately two hundred and six minutes. I hope I c-c-c-c-can h-h-h... You'll get it when it's done. But please don't worry, I'll have it done soon enough, Miss." Pandora's voice seemed to constantly shift between the three personalities inside it, making Rat laugh.

"Cool, Cool, Cool. And Iyu, can ya get me another drink? I don't wanna be thirsty." She laughed, tossing the empty can inside Iyu.

"I guess so." She smiled, teleporting away in an inky black swirl as Rat began to fiddle with a sword of light. "You know, girl. You and me woulda been pretty great partners in crimes if ya just listened to me." 

"Are you talking to me?" Pandora asked as she turned to look at her, but Rat gave a dismissive wave as she stared in front of her. "Nah, I'm talking to her." 

In front of Rat stood a woman who looked almost identical to herself, with the exception of the rat features and striking black hair. Pandora didn't question as to why Rat was seemingly talking to herself, mainly because she was incapable of asking the questions, but nodded her head along anyway.

The woman remained silent as Rat continued to babble on and on about random nonsense. "So yeah. Pretty good idea. But anyways, who are ya anyway? I never caught your name, Doppelganger." 

"Don't worry about my name. I shall be observing you for a bit." The woman replied with a cold stare, but Rat didn't care. "Then... Wanna hear about my many many stories?"

"Fine."

Rat gave a big grin and began going on and on about the time she accidentally ate a wild mushroom and thought she was going to die. It was a long story that even Pandora was bored by. But as the minutes kept ticking down, Rat's mind wandered to what exactly the point of her plan was. 

She knew she had to do it, but she didn't even understand it. It was like a constantly looping track in her mind. But she soon wrapped up her story as Iyu came back with another drink. 

"Thanks, Inky. Now... To wait patiently and do nothing. Just like ###### intended."

Everyone was already beginning to converge towards the Spire of Stars at a rapid pace, but Avis quickly noticed an oddity with the sky ship that had crashed into Diminutive. 

It had begun to fly towards them. 

"Hey... I think we might have a problem." She motioned to the gigantic ship with a dragon's skull at the bow. The ship seemed to be floating using some sort of mist, which Senshi was rather familiar with. "A.. A-A ship powered by Dragon's mist? A true marvel o-of engineering." She muttered to Vinea, who laughed playfully. 

"We can't really take a detour right now." He said as Nvr leapt across buildings, but as she jumped to the next building, a rift opened up right in front of her, with a school building falling through. 

"You alright?" Avis yelled before seeing Nvr running up the walls. She began using Grey like a grappling hook, swinging from building to building as Tika had stopped to stare at an emerging gigantic hand emerging from another rift. 

"You, Oni! I'd say ye halt if ya know what's good for ya!" A gruff yet soft masculine voice called out from the ship. Zamtika looked up to see a muscular, multi horned dragon with scruffy blue hair standing on the deck, looking down at her with a curious smirk. 

The dragon motioned to their crew to to lower the anchors, which almost crushed Tika. "What do you want? We're kinda in the middle of something!" She yelled back, only to hear the sounds of laughter coming from the ship. 

"Get up here and explain where the seven skies we bloody are and why I just crashed into my own bloody skull!" They yelled down. 

Meanwhile, Nvr stood on top of the School, noticing the gigantic hand emerging as Avis circled around them with a curious glance at the rift. "What do ya reckon that is?" She said as she landed next to them. 

Senshi was too distracted by the ship to even think as Vinea gave a shrug with his vines. "I dunno, but it's probably something that we'll deal with later, right?" He did seem interested though, along with Avis. With just a glance at each other, Vinea wrapped a vine around Avis's leg as she took off to take a closer look. 

Nvr rolled her eyes as she pulled Grey over her mouth, but soon heard a scream come from inside the building. She didn't know whether to continue her way to the tower or get side tracked like the others.

In the end, she and Grey slid down the side of the sky scraper and jumped through a window, any damage she took was quickly healed due to her regeneration as she began looking around the ruined looking school.

Panila had failed to even realise that everyone else had stopped just outside the entrance to the Central Plaza as she flew towards the Spire of Stars. As she landed on the ground with a slight trip, she couldn't help but feel some sorrow at the sight of the usually packed plaza being empty.

And as she walked to the towering twin doors that led inside, she was knocked back by chains. "Who in the seven hells did that!?" She yelled, as she wearily got up, summoning her chains in preparation for a fight.

A masculine figure approached, having long blonde hair and bangs that covered his eyes, he dusted off his black suit before turning to Panila while summoning his own set of chains. 

"What in mother's name?" Both muttered as they stared at each other, taking in each others appearances. "Who are you?" They both repeated before sighing in annoyance. Panila took the initiative, giving a light bow. "I am... Lucy Vincula. Warden of The Damned. You are?"

The masculine figure bowed to her in the same courteous manner she did. "I am... Hades Vincula. Warden of the Damned..."

The two looked at each other, a bit confused on what to do, but decided to try talking things out first, even though Hades attacked her. They quickly came to the conclusion that they were the same person, just from different universes. To the two of them, it was like talking to a sibling they hadn't seen in awhile.

"Well Hades. I suppose that I best be going, I have to stop a rodent with a genocidal plan."

"Very well. I suppose I shall wait for you to finish whatever you are doing so I may return home." 

With a simple handshake, the two parted ways and Panila finally entered the tower, ready to finally stop Rat.

Avis, Vinea and Senshi watched as a figure began to emerge from the portal. A gigantic yet petite woman emerged. Having and scruffy short red hair and striking emerald eyes that complimented her tanned skin. She looked at the three awkwardly before pulling at her hair, whispering into it. "V-Ven... Why are harpy Queen, Rose and Gnaw here?" 

The three looked between themselves, a bit confused as to why the giant called them that, but where more stunned when they saw a pair of purple rabbit ears emerge from the giants hair. A young man with pale white skin and rough purple hair emerged. "Relax, Tika. We'll kick their butts like every other time. Wait... Is that them? They look... Different." He said with a confused smirk, pulling out a cutlass and revolver from an obscured scabbard.

 "Ven!?" The three yelled, making the rabbit cover his ears from the noise. "Can you three be quiet? You're pretty loud." He mumbled as the Alternate world Tika tried to shoo them away. "A-Are we gonna beat these guys up or...?" 

"I don't think they're our three idiots... I mean, HQ doesn't even have a bag over her head... And the fancy looking arm." He said as he motioned to Avis. "I... What?" She asked with a confused chirp. But the alternate versions of their friends didn't exactly know what to do. 

"W-Well... I don't know h-how to get out of this thing." The giant motioned to the rift she was partially stuck in. Van gave a shrug as he turned to the three. "You uh... Reckon you could help my friend out?" He asked with a light smile.

Vinea gave a light shrug as Senshi nodded. "Eh, why not?" Avis answered. The three, mainly Vinea and Avis, began to literally pull at the rift, tearing it open just enough for the giant to fall through. Ven jumped up and gave the trio a thumbs up in thanks before falling back through. 

"Hope we get to properly meet again sometime!" 

The three waved back before flying off towards the tower, quickly meeting up with Panila who had just entered. "Where are the others?" The warden questioned, but the three gave a shrug in response as Avis said in a snarky tone. "Don't know. Why don't you go find em."

Zamtika landed on the deck of the ship with a thud to see the sight of hundreds of different races and species all standing around with weapons drawn. But they were all dismissed as the dragon and a blue scaled kobold with silver blue hair approached. 

"Now, ye better start talkin' 'bout where in the high skies we are!" The Dragon said as the kobold slowly pushed a harpoon cannon into view. But Zamtika let out a bored sigh, not even bothering to reach for her lance. "You guys are from another world, right? Well short version is a Rat girl wants to open up a portal somewhere across the multiverse and we're stopping it. We done?"

The two looked between each other before laughing, the dragon saying in a cocky tone. "Yeah right. And I'm human. Now. Why don't you tell us what is really happening... And why do you have a corpse?"

Zamtika wasn't even going to bother entertaining this anymore and went to leave, but was stopped by a gigantic claw that crashed down in front of her. She turned back to see that the dragon's arm was covered in mist, enlarged beyond normal proportions, yet they still had the strength to use it normally. "Did I say ya could leave?" 

Zamtika pulled out her lance and prepared to fight, only to see Vex drop on top of the dragon and quickly knock the kobold out with a swift kick. "Grab dad and let's bail!" She yelled and the mother/daughter duo quickly jumped off the ship, with Tika using portals to quickly get to the tower in little time.

The dragon wearily stood up, watching the two escape. "Kiola... Should we follow?" The kobold said as it shakily leant against the dragon's leg, though soon fell to the floor once they moved. "Yeah? Ya know what. I'm feeling reckless today. Tell the crew to swing the ship around and start gaining speed. We're bringing down whatever that tower is." The dragon laughed while watching their little kobold quickly run off.

Nvr and Grey began searching through a derelict looking classroom, not finding anything of note. They were about to leave, but quickly prepared to fight once they heard a chair fall over. "Come out please." She asked with an unintentionally scary voice before hearing multiple screams.

She saw a group of what looked like human teenagers running away in fear. "I'm not gonna lie. I think you might have scared them." Grey said in a seemingly smug tone, finding the situation funny. Nvr would feel bad if she wasn't undead and went off to find them, trying to help them out of the dangerous situation. 

One of them, a young boy with ivy green hair tripped over. He tried to scramble to his feet but let out a yell for help when the violently loud rushing footsteps of Nvr began to approach. One of his classmates, a girl with silver hair rushed back to help him. "C-Come on Vinnie!" 

But as she went to take his hand, Nvr pulled the kid up into the air and placed him over shoulder. The girl fell back in fear, trying to crawl away as she saw her classmate trying to escape the monsters grip. 

"You are really bad at this." Grey sighed, shifting into his fox form and leaping off Nvr's neck. He made sure to look less fleshy and creepy, instead appearing like a soft ball of fluff that could melt anyone's heart. "Hey, kids. Uh... You need to leave this place, it ain't safe." He tried his best to sound as non threatening as possible, calming the girl slightly.

"I am perfectly capable oooof not being threatening." Nvr tried to sound cutesy in a sing songy voice as she put the teenager in her grip down.

After Grey had managed to gather the students together and calm them, the two evacuated everyone in the building and told them to go to Biz's mansion for safety, as she had turned it into a safety shelter for the many denizens of the underbelly.

"Come... We should get to the tower." Nvr said as Grey wrapped around her neck like a scarf once more and the bio weapon soon made a beeline directly for the tower, soon meeting up with Tika and Vex on their way.

Once everyone had finally gathered at the base of the tower, they all began doing their final preparations for the true finale of The underbelly. 

And as they did, Rat finished her drink and checked the time, pulling a pocket watch out her pocket. "Ah... Only an hour left. In my name, how long does it take to raid a Spire raid?" She smirked before bursting into a full belly laugh for no real reason. 

"Oh me... This is who I became..." The woman mumbled as Rat cracked open another drink.
