"I'm your friend, Zhao Lan. Not an enemy, let go of me," Zhao Lan patiently told the latter to calm down.

"Zhao Lan?" Chen Yu asked her slowly.

"Yes yes, it's me, Zhao Lan. Let go," she said again.

"Zhao Lan, what are you doing here?" Chen Yu came back to her senses as she quickly let go of Zhao Lan.

"What am I doing here? This is the class, not your home. You fell asleep in the middle of the lecture."

"I came to wake you up, but you attacked me instead," Zhao Lan said as she was busy brushing her hand which almost got broken by Chen Yu.

"Chen Yu, how do you feel now? Are you alright?" Shi Lan asked her cautiously.

"Huh? Ah, yeah. i'm fine now," Chen Yu answered abruptly as she looked at Zhao Lan.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know this would happen. Are you alright?" Chen Yu suddenly felt bad for hurting her own friend as she apologized sincerely.

But Zhao Lan brushed her off saying that, "It's alright. I'm not hurt. Besides, things like fighting are common between friends, isn't it?" Zhao Lan winked at the class monitor.

She also understood what Zhao Lan meant, so she nodded her head as she told Chen Yu, "It's getting late. Yu, you should go back home now. You can take the note from me once you come to school tomorrow."

Chen Yu bid them goodbye as she quickly got out of the room with large strides without looking back.

'It's just a dream, and I almost messed up everything,' Chen Yu felt disappointed in herself as she got on the bicycle and left the school.

"What happened today, keep it a secret from everyone. Can you do this?" Zhao Lan grabbed Shi Lan's hand while pleading with her.

"I'll do it. Don't worry," Shi Lan promised her without any inquiry. because she believed her friends.

While both of them sighed in relief and got ready to go back home, a shadow also moved away from the class door in silence.
