Present
She was trying to calm down. She was trying to regulate her breathing but even tough, it came in short pants. He didn't hold back this time. He made sure to scar her skin for the rest of eternity. But it wasn't something unknown for her. Her ghostly white skin was full of scars that descended from her mouth to her toes.
Her mouth?
Yes, her mouth.
When he sliced her mouth with his claws, she made sure to not trust any male.
Ever.
He left her for the dead, and he didn't care when she was chocking on her own blood. He didn't care when the darkness took over her. He didn't care when the demons took her
Not just figuratively.
And now?
Now she was chained by the hands with blood pouring out of her.
But it's okay.
She felt much more pain than this. The torture she endured made her wounds to not hurt anymore.
But what hurts the most?
Her heart that aches every time when her destined mate fucks female after female, or her soul that pleads to be freed?
She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the metal door slamming open. Alastair came in, with his hands at his back.
She couldn't lie, he was a handsome man when he took a human form, but he was like every demon living in this hell.
Mad, evil, mischievous and the list goes on.
She was surprised that Alastair didn't held his favorite whip, or other torture items.
"Σκλάβος, αυτή τη βραδιά θα γιορτάσουμε 7 χρόνια από τότε που βρισκόσασταν στη συλλογή μου ψυχών. Μην τολμήσεις να δοκιμάσεις κάτι σαν την τελευταία φορά. Κατανοητή" he said glaring at her.
(Slave, this night we will celebrate 7 years since you've been in my collection of souls. Don't you dare try anything like the last time. Understood?)
She nodded weakly, but under that black hair that surrounded her face she was smirking on the exterior and laughing like a maniac on the inside.
Because that's what she was.
After he left she tried to reach her wolf and smirked when she felt her wolf ready for escape. And the day seemed to get better when the poison in her system neutralised. That meant she could reach her powers.
She could feel her fingers itching to make chaos. After she was known as an abomination, she had something dangerous inside of her.
Something that caused chaos.
Or rather, someone.
She leaned her head on the wall and thought how to escape unobserved. She needed luck on her side, which was unheard of. Bad luck was her friend and it followed her everywhere.
But now she had to hope, which was leaving her a bitter taste in her mouth. Hoping led her to this.
But maybe hope is her only chance.
She remembered the last time she had been outside her cell. The brought her in the yard to fight with the most powerful demon soldiers. She remembered that there was a gate that was guarded by a lower rank demon. She also knew that most of the gates were unprotected as all the demons were celebrating and drowning in booze. She just had to wait.
***
It was almost midnight, and she could her all the music and voices from outside.
This was her chance.
Her nails sharpened, and she easily unlocked the chains. The short knee-length white dress covered with dried blood made her sick. She couldn't wait to change in other clothes.
She she had to escape.
She went to the cell's bars and with her strength she broke the bars and stepped outside.
She sneaked out of the gates and shifted in her white wolf and run as far as she could.
Her wolf was in ecstasy. She could feel her wolf silently thanking her for letting her outside after those years. She stretched and took a few steps with wobbling legs. After some minutes, her wolf could walk perfectly and was ready for the escape.
Her wolf had been running for hours and it wouldn't be long 'till the demons would observe her absence. She decided it was time to disappear from there.
She shifted and begun to concentrate. Black, arched horns appeared on her head, the veins on her hand and near her eyes darkened, just like her eyes and her nails grew longer and sharper. Her shoulder length jet black hairs rested on her shoulders, her bangs were getting into her eyes and it irritated her for a few seconds until she adjusted. Her horns were enchanting, her eyes, alluring.
And her mouth?
Her mouth that was always set in a crazy, maniac smile? Well, it gave her a dangerous vibe and she joked inside her head that she had to thank him for that.
She smiled.
In a crazy, demented way.
She raised her right hand and a portal opened. A satisfied feeling rose in her when she saw her powers restored. She looked one more time at the demons territory named Hell and went through the portal.
When she stepped out of the portal, she looked around her. Trees surrounded her, making her feel safe. She could hear the melody a river sang near and it almost lulled her to sleep. But she had to leave. She had a lot to do.
It was strange tough.
For the first she didn't feel the urge to destroy or kill.
She felt...calm.
A wave of serenity came over her. Maybe staying here for a while won't do any bad. She closed her eyes, hoping that this time, the nightmares didn't chase her.
She looked in his eyes and was mesmerised by his pools of melted brown eyes. His eyes were...captivating. Her eyes sparkled with happiness.
But his didn't.
His eyes didn't show the same feeling.
"I, Reese Hansen, Alpha of the Falling Stars Pack, reject you as my mate an luna."
Her wolf whimpered in her head and her heart broke. Why didn't he want her?
"But why?" She asked. "Why did you reject me?"
"I don't want a weakling as my luna. You'll do nothing but bring me down" he said.
"I am not weak!" She retorted. "You don't know how powerful I am. Give me a chance. I can make you the most powerful Alpha in the whole world. Just accept me."
"Lies!" Shouted Reese. "Leave! Don't come back! If you do..."
"Why don't yo-"
She didn't even finish her sentence. She felt pain all over her face. Why did it hurt so much?
"This shall be a reminder of what I can do" he said as he slit her neck.
