First Game Release

The principal took the notebook, instantly recognizing that the solution was not only correct but an exceptional one.

"Is the solution correct?" the police asked the principal.

No matter what, the principal could not lie. "Yes, it's correct."

"Okay," the police officer then handcuffed the teacher.

"You are under arrest for torture and making false accusations." Everyone in the room was shocked. They didn't know what to do; one of their colleagues was being arrested.

The principal, in his many years of teaching, had never faced such a situation and was equally shocked.

The math teacher didn't know what to do; he began to plead, "Sorry, sir, please don't arrest me. I will never do it again."

Sanjay remained calm; he knew that no one would get arrested for such a small issue. Even if the teacher was arrested, he would be out soon, and no case would be registered. However, the reputation of the entire school would be tarnished. No parent would want their children to attend a school where they would be beaten.

The principal spoke, "Sir, can't we settle this between ourselves?" in a polite manner to Sanjay's uncle.

"Sure," his uncle agreed. They talked and finally reached a conclusion.

The teacher would be fired, and Sanjay would be suspended for a week. His uncle knew that if they arrested the math teacher, Sanjay might also get expelled, which could affect his future. This was the most suitable outcome.

Sanjay was the happiest; he now had a week to complete his project. As for the teacher, he didn't care; he should have thought before getting into all of this.

Sanjay had gotten into all of this because he was weak, and his presence wouldn't affect anyone in any way. If it had been a top student who had done something similar, Sanjay was sure the principal would have protected him. But as a nobody, he couldn't put too much hope in anyone.

After sorting everything out, Sanjay got into the car with his uncle.

"Sanjay, don't worry. I will explain everything to your parents."

Sanjay wasn't even worried; he had multiple ways to handle his parents himself. His uncle was astonished at how calm he was. Sitting quietly in the car, he realized that his nephew had become more mature.

After reaching home, his uncle told everything to his parents, portraying their son's actions as a heroic deed for standing up. However, his parents didn't agree and scolded him, grounding him for a week.

Sanjay didn't even feel like going out; he was just eager to get back to his computer.

He went to his room and started up his desktop. He had previously convinced his parents to buy an internet dongle for him under the guise of needing it for studies, although he really wanted it for gaming.

He installed Microsoft Visual C++ and decided to write the code for Flappy Bird in C++ for more control over memory management and performance optimization, leveraging his genius-level coding abilities with the help of NZT. He worked on writing the code throughout the evening, and before dinner, he had completed the entire code flow.

While it might take an average person 1-2 months to write the complete code, he managed it in just 5 hours. After dinner, he returned to his computer, researching how to upload his game on both Android and iOS.

After a few minor hiccups, he successfully uploaded both versions of the game, with no registration fees or hidden costs in 2010. Both Android and iOS were competing for market share. After double-checking everything one last time, he went to bed. Since he didn't have a phone in 2010, he couldn't check how well the game played, but he was confident it would be among the leading games in the market.

Next day, Sanjay woke up at 4 o'clock. He couldn't sleep anymore; his brain constantly pushed him to work, which could be dangerous in the near future. He sat in his bed and attempted some meditation to calm his racing thoughts. After a while, he managed to settle his mind and then went to his computer.

It was fortunate that his parents were still asleep; otherwise, he would have faced their scolding. Sanjay powered on his computer and began writing the code for his social media platform. He had plans to release two platforms: one similar to Twitter and another like Instagram.

Twitter was already a registered trademark, so he couldn't use the name for that platform, but he could use Instagram for his platform. As for hosting services, he could outsource it to Tata Communications, known as one of the best in India for data center services and solutions, including cloud hosting.

Sanjay started working on a platform he named "BuzzTalk," similar to Twitter. He intended to write the backend code in Python and the frontend code in JavaScript. Writing the code for BuzzTalk was more complex than "Flappy Bird," but it felt like a breeze to him, although he was somewhat frustrated because his hands couldn't keep up with his racing mind.

He managed to write half of the code for Twitter before taking a break for breakfast.

Sanjay then switched to the Android platform to check Flappy Bird's income. He was astonished; in one night, he had earned $1,000 from in-app advertisements, which converted to 45,000 Indian rupees. The game already had 10,000 active users. Sanjay would receive the money monthly or once it reached a threshold of $15,000, and it seemed like that threshold wasn't too far away.

Sanjay went to the kitchen to grab some breakfast, and his parents were pleased to see him awake early in the morning. They couldn't be prouder of their son, but Sanjay couldn't help but remember that he had just returned from the future, where his parents had aged, and his sister had married.

He felt a surge of emotions but quickly regained his composure. Thanks to NZT, his mind remained rational. However, he made a silent promise to provide his parents with everything they deserved.

His elder sister was also at the breakfast table. After exchanging pleasantries and finishing his meal, he returned to his room to resume work.

"Dear, what has Sanjay been doing on his computer all night?" his mother inquired.

"I hope he's not playing games, or I'll break his legs this time," his father retorted.

His mother approached his room, cautiously pushing the door open. She observed him vigorously typing on the keyboard, relieved that he was utilizing his time productively. Given his recent suspension, she worried he might fall behind his classmates.

Two days passed, and Sanjay completed the code for BuzzTalk. While similar to Twitter, it had distinctive features. He concentrated on generating revenue from in-app advertisements and user verification.

Similar to Twitter, he introduced a blue tick verification for public figures and included a fee for users seeking the verification. Furthermore, he implemented a fee for exceeding character limits.

Although these features might seem unnecessary at present, Sanjay anticipated potential issues in the future. He was aware of how Twitter had encountered losses and was eventually acquired by Elon Musk due to similar issues. He also integrated features in the trending list, aiming to limit false accounts from trending topics.
