Dante allowed San to adventure out on his own whereas Mia was temporarily placed under the observation of the Ancients. Dante didn't even bother to change Mias lifestyle, after all it might seem exaggerated for others but for him it was only a small cost.
And after all, Mia was still qualified to be his puppet clone's lover so naturally she should live the best life. However Dante also managed to learn about the benefits that Mia got from the Aura of Heaven.
Surprisingly she has a quite powerful ability, which had unfortunately never shown its true power with Mias pampered lifestyle. Her body is able to naturally absorb the pure energy within plants and pills.
That means by just holding spiritual herbs in her hands, she is able to absorb a very pure energy within the plant.
Not only does it speed up her cultivation, it also increases the strength and abundance of the spiritual energy within her body.
If you imagine your body like a water tank and the spiritual energy is the water it gives a good idea of what being a cultivator on this continent is like. If the water inside the tank is clean and pure you don't need to filter it again.
If you need to filter the water you would get less. So the purer it is, the more energy you can fit inside that is usable.
Take Dantes puppet technique as an example, it extracts the purest amount of energy from each of the puppets and although this amount is incredibly small the benefits outweigh the losses.

Now that Mia was officially Dantes puppet, the next step is for Dante to retrieve the right materials for his next puppet.
This time his puppet is going to be the rare Father Physique suitable only for men. It boosts the fertility chances of the holder by almost double. It is only a Rank 3 Physique but it needs a very specific material to create it.
Dante needed the blood of six thousand fathers, and even more importantly he needed a rare sandalwood only found in the Misery Desert. The Misery desert has the same surface area of earth but it is entirely desert.
There are very little natural resources and it is considered a death trap for any cultivators lower than the Fairy State. There are also many beasts within it able to even kill Saints.
Dante decided to take this trip himself under the guard of his Saint Puppets and a hundred Ancient Puppets. He needed to guarantee his security. Thanks to the aura of heaven two more saints broke through from the peak of Ancient.
Meaning Dante would be able to travel to the Desert under the protection of four Saints. That should be enough to secure his safety in the desert. Not to mention the hundred ancients are also more useful in the scenario of being surrounded.
Dante decided immediately to head out towards the Desert. His Ancient Phoenix had already broken through to the Saint Realm, and it also served as Dantes mount. Unfortunately Dante can't use it for combat unless necessary, so he didn't class it as his saints combat power.
