"Kian!" I shouted. I caught him as the bullet went through his hand.

"Lexi... It's just a scratch, nothing much." He looked at Jason in the pool of blood.

"Si!" I shouted... Where's she? I said her to be nearby me.

"I am here!" She showed the first aid box.

"Where were you! Why didn't you inform me that Kian is here?" I asked as I tore his shirt's sleeve.

"I saw him... He was too much enraged to look around. And I felt you needed his help more than mine!" I took the first aid box from her.

"What were you thinking Lexi? Are you mad... They want you out! How can you be so careless! I said you... I am investigating, have I not?" Kian glared at me... I just couldn't say anything.

"I... I thought... There was no time to waste Kian! What if while you are investigating they harm someone. That's why, I thought that... I could do it." I said while cleaning his wound.
