Chapter 26

Sometimes saying truth is so hard! The truth is on the tip of your tongue but you cannot spill it.

"Lexi? What are you hiding?" Kian asked me looking at me confused with what I said.

"Actually... It's not about me but... Ummm... you know what... Wait here!" I went to the cupboard and took out the envelope.

I sighed thinking that whatever I am doing right. After convincing myself I went towards the bed. I showed him the envelope gesturing him to take it. He looked confused but took it anyway.

He was about to open but I stopped him.

"I will go out and then you read." Saying I went out of the room. I went to the balcony and sat there patiently. I don't know how he will react? I don't even know that saying him everything will do any good.

"What happened?" I shrieked and turned back.

"You scared me! What are you doing here? How did you enter? I mean I didn't heard the doorbell." I said.
