Chapter 20

I don't know how much time passed while I am sitting on the ground, crying my heart out. I should be happy that I proved them wrong... the way I wanted. That is what I wanted, right? But I am not.

He always knew everything about me... Why he didn't notice the mole? Why he couldn't ask me about everything? Why he didn't trust me? Why?

My thoughts were interrupted by ringing of my phone.

"Hello." I said after picking it up.

"Hello! It's me! How it all went?" The voice over the other line asked.

"It went as planned. I proved my innocence." I said monotonously.

"And? Why are you not happy?" Because I am not!

"I am happy that everything went as planned and we can move to our next plan. You keep everything ready there." I said with an intention to turn the conversation.

"Yes, everything will be ready. Okay now bye" Thank you!

After the call ended, I willed myself to get up and check on kids. I was just going out after washing my face, when my dear husband entered.
