Before Su Yu could respond, the young woman stood up shyly and smiled. "Hi, my name is Meng Wanying."
Su Yu didn't reply; he just stared sternly at the young woman, who avoided his gaze awkwardly.
Just then, Mrs. Su walked out of the kitchen. She smiled. "You're back! An's here as well? Nice to see you again."
"Good evening, Mrs. Su," An replied quietly.
"Come and have a seat, I'll get us some fruit. Oh right, Yu, I bet you don't remember her, do you? I couldn't either! Do you remember Uncle Meng? His father was in the army with your grandpa and this is his daughter. I remember that she used to come to visit when she was younger and often brought you toy shotguns."
"Oh… I don't remember her." Su Yu shook his head.
"Your memory is as awful as mine! Anyways, she's Uncle Meng's daughter. Wanying, this is Su Yu, my son. He's more handsome in person, isn't he?" Mrs. Su walked up and put her hand on the young woman's shoulder.
