Psionic Super Soldier summoned to another reality!

“Wake up Subject Zero. Today is the final test.” The year is 10293 BNE (Birth of the Nanrite Empire). Technology has advanced to such a degree that it can now casually encroach upon what many would call the domain of the gods. Terraforming planets? Try Entire universes, in only a matter of days. Ships larger than stars that can casually ignore a black hole, no matter the size, can tank multiple stars going supernova. And those are just transport ships. Currently, the Nanrite Empire is at war. A war that has lasted for the last 10 years. Less than a blink for the Nanrite Empire’s long history. And yet, this war is the single most important one to ever be waged for one simple reason; The Nanrite Empire was losing. Horribly. In those measly 10 years of war, the Nanrite Empire has gone from thousands and thousands of galaxies to one. They are on their last legs. Their enemy came out of nowhere. Wielding a new Element even the Empire has never seen before that they have simply dubbed “Psytenium.” It was not the technology that the Nanrite Empire feared, but the army their enemy fielded. A simple foot soldier could collapse a star with but a thought. And while the Empire’s technology could easily replicate such feats, it couldn’t keep up with the seemingly endless number of minds working as one to destroy them. After extensive research and liberal use of experimental Chrono-Tech, they discovered that Psytenium was the cause! So they endeavoured to copy this effect, yet Subject Zero is the only experiment to survive. It’s a shame that fate would not let the Nanrite Empire have its cake and eat it too. As no sooner than after the successful final test, the floor around Subject Zero lit up in strange shapes and runes…

[news]Poll at the end~.[/news]

Being pulled through universe after universe was an odd feeling, to say the least. After the first few realities I ended up being pulled through I quickly shielded my mind from all outside influences; the amount of information I was picking up from every single thought was too much to keep. Feeling much too lethargic to bother with even parsing any of the information I had picked up, I just flushed it and left it at that.

I did find it amusing and interesting however that as I was passing through realities both my physical and astral bodies were not conforming to them. One reality I passed through was made up of literal paint! I giggled when I passed by a pair of people made out of said liquids who were screaming and flying in the opposite direction I was. It was interesting to see them shatter a wall of reality in the shape of a star as they passed into a new one gaining a new form before said wall fixed itself.

Oh, the look on that man's face when he saw what I looked like before the hole was repaired was priceless! He did look a little strange as the reality he and the girl he was holding desperately onto looked like some super old-time film. Filmgrains and all even!

Another giggle in my mind as I thought of the face she would have been making at the same time before I noticed I was starting to slow down. I was still passing through realities just as fast but I could tell my destination was closing in somehow, was an oddity, truth be told.

And then suddenly I saw nothing but white as the spell or whatever had grabbed me decided to flash-bang me like an asshole. Shaking my head and rapidly blinking my eyes to clear them up, I was instantly aware of hundreds of minds around me while there were two in the room I was summoned to.

As my eyes came into focus, I couldn't help but arch an eyebrow in curiosity of the two Nanrite-looking males before me and their odd state of attire. They were wearing robes of some sort, finely fitted as if tailored by a professional. Black with a few red outlines along their chests and in the middle was a golden four-headed wolf, I think, as an emblem.

We all stood there, well I floated, staring and appraising each other. The one on the right looked like a young adult, maybe twenty solar cycles. The one on the left, however, looked to be in his thirties, and the amount of bioenergy I felt from him was staggering. No-where near mine I noted, but drastically higher than anything from the universe I came from, including the most powerful Orihith I was able to feel at the time I was taken.

My musings were broken by the young one laughing and saying something to the older one, reminding me to take what knowledge I wanted from them. More to the point, the crude language I was hearing.

As I was plundering what I wanted from their minds, the older one suddenly glared at me and spoke in a hard, cool voice, "What did you just do, beast?"

I smiled as I said, ~My! You felt that did you? Maybe you're not as worthless as I initially judged?~

I suddenly felt some kind of pitifully weak pressure fall on my entire naked form, from the tip of my head down to the tip of my tail as he stated, "It seems your new pill furnace needs a bit of breaking in little Zei."

The now-named Zei answered, "So it would seem, Esteemed Ancestor! Though, do try not to break her too much, she is perfect for my Godly Deamon Dragon Bloodline!"

Tilting my head at the term "pill furnace" I quickly finished parsing all of the information I took from them. As soon as I understood exactly what they had summoned me for, my look became flat as I let out a soundless sigh. With an annoyed look, I thought, 'Really? That is what they summoned me for? Some of the ingredients they used for their little spell thing were NOT cheap from what I understand of their economy.'

The older man, Hengh Zai from what I took, walked a few slow, deliberate steps towards me as he calmly said, "Worry not little Zei, I will just destroy her cultivation and paralyse her. She needs neither after all, and that should be enough of a lesson."

I cast a glance at Zei when he said, "Mm mhm! The Esteemed Ancestor is wise in his education, as expected! Her life force is immense, I can not wait to get started!"

A hard grunt from Zai drew my attention back to himself as he thrusts his palm towards me, fingers in a grasping-like position as he aimed for where my heart was. With but a mere thought we were both softly glowing in my psionic energy as I froze his entire body mid-motion.

The old man's eyes widened a comical degree as I felt him uselessly struggle against my hold. While his nephew gasped and said, "Esteemed Ancestor!? What is-"

Without taking my attention off the man I said, ~Silence.~

The youngling soon joined us in glowing a subtle rainbow of colours. I softly floated over to Zai, leaned down and caressed his left cheek as I softly said, ~You have no idea what you have unleashed upon your universe, do you? Thousands of years old, and a Star Nova-level cultivator! And yet… And yet, you still reached beyond your ken, your station. Grasping at the unknown for your little descendant, and bringing back something you shouldn't have.~

Softly floating away from him I had a serene smile on my face as I continued, ~But, you also saved me from the Phantasmal. For a time at least anyway. For that, I will not kill you for this offence. After all, I do not wish to court death from your Golden Wolf of Disaster Sect.~

Casting my gaze to the stilled young master of this sect, he glowed a bit more prominently with a purple haze as he floated over to join his "most Esteemed Ancestor."

Smiling at them softly I say, ~There, united again. Now, I will not kill you for your disrespect, but I was wondering if you two could do me a favour.~

Doing a little swirl as I floated further away I reached out with both my arms, ignoring my floating hair that was acting like I was deep underwater, I continued, ~Would you kindly swear a Heavenly Celestial Oath to each other?~

They both glowed a bright rainbow as my command slammed into their minds and I released my telekinetic hold on their bodies. They turned to each other, bowed deeply, and with calm loving smiles they both said, "Esteemed Ancestor Hengh Zai (Little Nephew Hengh Zei) I wish to make a Heavenly Celestial Oath with you. Under the Heavens, I swear upon my eternal soul and cultivation that I will never harm, in any way shape or form, the one named Hength Zai (Hength Zei)! Thus I Hength Zei (Hength Zai) swear!"

I marvelled the moment they finished talking and took another bow, as a golden chain brimming with a truly excessive amount of profound feeling energy formed between not only their physical hearts but their astral ones.

Nodding my head in satisfaction I said, ~Now, don't you two think you should go into the Esteemed Ancestors cultivation chamber at the top of the peak your sect rests on? Here is a tip from me to you. A freebie! I hear if you stab each other in the heart with a knife at the strike of midnight, your cultivation levels will rush against the current bottlenecks and breakthrough! Truly, this small one wouldn't lie to the most Esteemed Ancestor of the Golden Wolf of Disaster Sect after all!~

They both turned to me and the older one, Zai said, "Naturally! You were summoned for your knowledge after all, beast! And of course, you can't lie, the array we augmented the ritual prevents it! Hmph!"

He gave me one last sneer before he billowed his robe like some sort of wizard in dark robes would and started walking away. Without looking back he said, "Little Zei, come! We must meditate till the moon is ready to grace us! We should not miss this chance to break through! Finally, I will show that crummy old elder Feng Je who the truly powerful Sect is!"

Copying the sneer his ancestor gave me for a second, Zei quickly turned around and scurried after while saying, "Right! This breakthrough is perfectly timed for the tournament at the Royal Capital! I bet I can come in first this time, and then have Fairy Chengli Hong look at me!"

Zai let out a good-natured chuckle and said, "It is good for the younger generation to have such big dreams and aspirations!"

They continued their friendly conversation, completely forgetting me, as they left the summoning room. Or rather, what I was calling the summoning room anyway. Looking around as I started to float after them I took a quick note of the very spartan-like room for anything valuable. Sadly, all there was left in the room were the torches blazing along the walls and the red substance drawn in some strange pattern on the ground. Blood most likely I thought with amusement.

Pausing at the now-closed double doors to the, honestly, rather large "summoning" room, I get an idea. With a mental flick all of the torches in the room glow rainbow before bursting into "dust" and the resulting glowing remains rush towards me.

Closing my eyes and sighing as I reform the atoms into new formations I think, 'While I don't mind being naked in the least, rather I enjoy it, I don't want to be bothered by the Nanrites. Or wait, I think they call themselves "Humans" now that I think of it… Meh.'

Seconds later, the glowing little storm that enveloped my body settled into some new clothes and accessories. Looking down at my handiwork, a ghost of a smile makes its way to my face. I was now in a type of tight dress I saw some of their females wearing. It was extremely form-fitting, hugging all my curves, with a deep "V" cut around the neck to show off a fair amount of cleavage.

The dress itself split at the hips and the front was narrower, while the rear was wider, almost like a small cape. I had long pantyhoes that came up to my upper thighs, giving off a wonderful view of skin between them and my panties. Naturally, the whole outfit was rose red giving a wonderful contrast between it and my skin and scale colours.

On my neck and earrings were gemstones of pink diamonds, and rather large ones as well. The earrings themselves were teardrop-shaped and several centimetres long. The necklace had a much larger teardrop pink diamond, and along the pearl white chain were little teardrops of Alexandrite. It was my second favourite gemstone next to pink diamonds after all!

To lightly combat a situation of potential suitors, I had a "wedding" ring on my left hand. Again, the main gemstone was a pink diamond, in a circular shape and studded all around it was a mix of rubies and Alexandrite. The band itself was extremely pure jade, to sell the whole "married to wealth" idea.

Happy with my new articles, I finally made my way outside of the room. While I took some action against people trying to flirt with me, I don't think I had to worry too much. There was a race of spirit beasts that resembled me in looks called "The Awakened." I scoffed at the lazy name for the race, but ultimately I didn't care. The main thing was they looked like me, were incredibly powerful, and not often lusted after. While they were respected, it was only because of their strength.

As I was making my way through the sect, which it seems I was currently near the heart of, I took a passing read of the topmost thoughts of several humans walking around me. Most seemed to be concerned about that upcoming tournament Zei was talking about. I frowned slightly as I thought, 'Or was it Zai? Eh.'

I quickly put it out of my mind, because from what I now understood about their cultivation levels and what exactly would happen when they broke their pact with each other, it didn't matter in the end. The cultivation level of the older one being called "Star Nova" was not for nothing. While it wasn't at the literal levels of a star going supernova, it was still a whole lot of energy.

When those two kill each other, his cultivation detonation from the punishment of the pact will completely obliterate this mountain and most if not all of the city that is only a kilometre away from the base of the mountain this sect is built on.

And a quite impressive mountain this is after all! It is around six kilometres tall and almost twenty-five wide at its base. So having one person's cultivation being more than enough to obliterate that kind of range is impressive. At least I assumed it is, to the locals at least anyway.

Mentally humming a random tune I started to ignore all thoughts not related to me while I thought, 'While I understand cultivation and what it is, I don't exactly comprehend it fully. From the knowledge of the older man, I know I can't cultivate, as my body doesn't have these meridians or diatans. I don't have a location for this special energy they collect to pool at, nor the pathways for it to travel along.'

With the ghost of a narcissistic smirk on my face, I continued thinking, 'Not like I could improve much about my body anyway.'

I was broken out of my self-admiration by the thoughts of an inner-core disciple that is thinking beyond his station, 'Holy shit, would you look at the breasts on that Awakened Dragon! Hmmm, and that body in general… No horns, but she still has a tail, claws and scales. So I should be stronger? I'll just get the other inner cores to come with me, we should be enough. More so with Senior Sister Xiao Jing. Dirty pervert, but her great strength can not be ignored.'

I had a tiny smirk on my lips as I continued on my way I thought, 'Looks like I'll get some more entertainment before long.'

When I finally made it past the main gates to the sect, I was genuinely surprised that was the only human stain that had such malicious thoughts and was planning to act on them. Pushing the upcoming fun to the back of my mind, I quickly picked up my speed as I started to make my way down the mountain range. Even though I have never personally gone down this path, because of the information I stole from the Ancestor it felt like I knew every twist and turn like the back of my hand.

I couldn't help the smile forming on my face as I sped down the path at a relatively high speed! My hair whipped in the wind, along with my dress, as I jumped and pivoted my way around all obstacles. I got to enjoy the looks of a great many shocked faces as I passed travellers going both directions along the mountain.

Pushing off a rather large boulder as I flung myself high into the sky, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the rays of the sun on my face for the first time since I've come into existence. I spent seventy long, painful years locked up like an animal by my creators. Not once being able to leave the room I was created in.

Still enjoying the rays hitting my face, I ended up frowning at the memory however as I thought, 'I ended them too fast I think. I should have broken their minds by forcing them to live through their worst nightmares. Oh well, they are dead and so far out of my reach currently, it is a pointless thing to lament about.'

Opening my eyes and looking down towards the city I could see in the distance, I created a temporary telekinetic platform and shunted myself in its direction. A loud crack echoed out as I broke the sound barrier with ease.

Still smiling like an absolute loon at the amount of freedom I was feeling, my body began to glow brightly with my power as I arrested my movement moments before I collided with the road near the city entrance. Quickly schooling my face to a much more relaxed smile as I near a surprisingly paved road, I give the startled guards a soft smile.

Slowly floating my way over to them I say, ~Hello gentleman.~

Even if their eyes couldn't widen further, it didn't stop them from trying it seemed. Tilting my head slightly to the right I dived into their minds lightly to find the reason why that was seemingly more surprising than my entrance.

As I found the reason I thought, 'Well, that is interesting. It seems forced telepathy without the aid of some special artefact or "curse" mark is unheard of.'

To the guards' credit, they collected themselves reasonably quickly and both of them bowed deeply while simultaneously saying, "We greet you esteemed Lady of The Awoken!"

With an unseen soft smile on my face, I reply, ~Thank you. I trust there is no issue of me skipping this rather long line and entering your fine-looking city?~

Again the both of them, while still bowing, said, "None My Lady! Please be welcomed, and enjoy our fine city 'The Rivers End!'"

I had to stop my eyebrow from raising at the name of the city, as I honestly forgot to look for it while I was digging around the few minds I bothered to. And at the fact, there was no actual river anywhere near the city proper. Symbolic, or a very old name I suspected.

As I floated past the still-bowing gate guards I said, ~Thank you, gentleman.~

As I crossed the threshold and entered the city proper I felt them stand back up and semi-yell, "Our pleasure, Lady Awoken!"

By now though I was ignoring their shenanigans as I was looking around in wonder. While the level of tech in this world is horrible and almost barbaric, it still has its sense of style that very much agrees with my tastes. A fact I was honestly a little surprised about.

The pathways were fully paved, and they at least had a good sewer system as I couldn't smell even a hint of shit in the air much to my relief.

The buildings were made of mostly stone, while the odd one here and there looked to be made up of wood of an unusual makeup. Unusual in a way that it was very likely from what I was able to tell the wood was several times stronger than the stone by many orders of magnitude.

Another note I made is most of the colours of the buildings seemed to follow the main colours of the nearby sect, that is to say, an ashen black with red accents. To my surprise though, the colouring didn't give off a sinister feeling most would associate to this typical colour pallet and instead gave off a regal and peaceful feeling. I was honestly impressed and enjoyed the architecture. If I had to compare it to a style I was familiar with it would be the Chinese culture that was around on the Nanrite Empire's original homeworld. During its feudal era, I think it was.

Releasing an amused huff as I continued to look around I thought, 'Really had to dig deep into my memory for that one. I still find it funny that they never caught the janitor watching those old history documentaries on the job in the fifty years he was there. I believe one of the terms he loved to describe himself was "Gigachad" now that I am thinking of him. Eh, moving on.'

I wasted the rest of the day wandering around the entire city enjoying the sights while they were still around. I eventually ended up in this fancy tea house named "The Golden Cup" and was enjoying some jade tea. With a slightly amused smirk, I thought, 'Or was it Jasmin mint tea? Oh! It seems the fun I have been expecting is finally making its way to this area. Well, I stand out rather brilliantly so it's not a surprise they've found me so easily. Hmmm… the fireworks should start pretty soon as well.'

Silently giggling at the whole situation I continue my thoughts, 'The "Heavens" must be blessing me to have the timing of the events matching so well!'

Several minutes later, the little group of six inner disciples made it to the tea house and walked up the stairs to the area I had reserved entirely for myself.

Sometime during my walk, I noticed I still had a rather startling amount of resentment for the Nanrites leftover and I ended up projecting it onto the humans because they looked the same. Did it bother me? No, it did not. But it was something I noted nonetheless.

I was broken, rather rudely in my opinion, out of my musings by the same gentleman who kickstarted this whole encounter, "Greetings Fairy Awoken! My name is Hyjen Jin, an inner disciple of the nearby sect! Yes, the mighty Golden Wolf of Disaster Sect! With me are several of my fellow inner disciples. And the core disciple Xiao Jing!"

I was mildly surprised that they managed to drag a core disciple along, and that said disciple was female. I knew she had the position because of her talent and strength however because she was rather ugly. All Nanrites, or rather Humans, are in my eyes to be fair. I was further amused that he didn't bother to save any face for his "friends" because he didn't bother to introduce them.

Jing then took over the conversation as she asked, "Greetings, Fairy of the Awakened! As he said, my name is Xiao Jing! I was wondering if you would give us the joy of knowing your name?"

I didn't need any sort of power to feel the astounding levels of lust that were waving off this woman in spades. Honestly, she wanted me a great deal more than all of them men combined! I was feeling a mix of flattery and revulsion from it all, to be honest.

Still, I decided to be polite to her as while her mind was filled with a limitless number of lewd scenes, she was not disgusting about it like the men were. Her thoughts were lewd and varied yes, but they were genuine as her extreme interest was in my looks. All of my looks, and not just the Nanrite similar ones. I felt nothing but pride when she eyed my tail and the flurry of thoughts about it that flowed through her mind.

The men however were ironically less lewd than the woman was, but they felt revulsion about my Orihith parts.

Ignoring the man entirely, I turned to look at Jing in the eyes and said, ~A pleasure to meet you, Xiao Jing. Please, why don't you join me for tea?~

Enjoying the absolute shock on their faces at hearing my voice in their minds, I gave a wave of my hand and slid out one of the chairs for the woman to sit on. She quickly flashed me a wide smile and sat down. With another flick of my mind, I slowly pulled the chair into place while notifying a staff member to bring another single cup for my new guest.

Snapping out of his shock, the useless boy Hyjen Jin, had a slightly strained smile on his face still as he asked, "Fairy Awoken, we would also like to join you for some tea!"

With a neutral smile on my face, I turned my head his way and said, ~How unfortunate that there are no more chairs. Yes, truly unfortunate.~

His smile strained even further as he glanced down at the other chairs around my table and just as he opened his mouth, I and the chairs suddenly had a rainbow glow. The chairs suddenly turned to ash that quickly made its way to my outstretched right hand. I then created a tiny little chair in the same style briefly before it too returned to ash which I then caused to float around my hand in the shape of an atom.

They were too shocked to notice the tea house employee appear and set down a teacup on a little plate in front of Jing. After she bowed and turned to leave I moved my gaze to the open window to my right that held a wondrous view of the mountain containing their sect. I then caused the dust to simply vanish from view.

As I took a sip of my tea I said, ~As for my name, I would tell you but sadly it seems we're out of time.~

Jing snapped out of her surprise hearing my sudden statement, followed my gaze and asked, "What do you mean we're-"

She was interrupted by the world suddenly turning white.
