Track 9 Two Blades Cross for Two Rulers

Murdock is walking home after his meeting with Madam Plaisir, as he walked he saw a newspaper article on Unsightly Jack who's kill count has been now made Five, Murdock bought a paper & some cigarettes. He lit his cigarette (with a match), and read the paper as he read he lets out a sigh and says "Five victims that they know of-" off to the side someone said "-dumbasses." Murdock looks over his shoulder and saw Tai <an old looking who's in his late 40's who had a red bowl haircut with what seems like a ponytail & peach fuzz as if he's trying to grow a beard, he also had a rather tall and skinny build easily 6'4 but couldn't weigh more than 110lbs. He also had purple muscle shirt, navy blue track pants, red sandals on.

Coincidentally he was also reading a newspaper, the two quickly dropped their paper & started rapidly exchanging blows & blocks; Murdock grabs Tai by the collar of his shirt and says "Let's continue this in private!" Throws Tai into an alleyway and starts the fight again the two seemed equal in many ways but Tai seems to be only redirecting Murdocks strikes, Murdock realizing this spits his cigarette into Tai's face making him briefly flinch.

This gave Murdock time to deliver a punch but was stopped short by Tai's arms Murdock smirks and delivers a half-inch punch into Tai's stomach sending him back a few steps, the shock still lingering have Murdock a chance to unleash a rather brutal offensive; Tai grabs a trashcan lid an Murdock punches it he shakes his hand from the numbness as Tai takes the initiative blocking & attacking Murdock to the corner. Despite his lanky figure his blows had more power than expected it the fight dragged out too long, Murdock doubted his defenses would hold, and his attacks can't seem to connect to Tai.

A siren could be heard approaching, the two knowing what it meant was the cops and neither seemed interested in staying around. Murdock kicks Tai off him & quickly flees up the fire escape, meanwhile Tai runs over to a fence and the two made a less than elegant escape the both thinking to themselves 'Lucky me I found Unsightly Jack. That bonus is MINE!'; they say both smirking looking rather villainous, as the police arrived a slouching man in a business suit & massive binocular looking glasses with bright pink eyes was in the crowd as everyone talked about the random street fight that broke out. Once he heard about the street fight he smiled showing his sharp teeth as he turns to returned home,

<The day fades & the bright blue & white faded and replaced with the dominate red with the black behind it, as Murdock loads his pistol & sheathes his knife under his blazer. Murdock leaves his apartment and as he walked the white & blue that dominated the day slowly faded into a gray & purple hue, which then transferred to the black & red; symbolizing the awakening of the Red Light District.>

<Meanwhile on the edge of the city the man named Tai is punching a punching bag with great speed & fluidity, he is feeling great joy finally finding an opponent who can give him a challenge. He thinks back to all his fights and his opponents he'd beaten nearly to death. As this goes on Murdock is striking a wooden striking post with precision & power; Murdock is thinking how he can finally make REAL money & not just scrap. The scene ends with the two striking their respected sparing equipment & broke them in two.>
