Ririna was surprised when he pulled out of her and made her turn around so she was bending in front of him. His body hovered hers while his lips settled and gently nipped on her shoulders. His eyes landed on the wounds on her back, making him stop behind her. He gently ran his fingers on her smooth skin, avoiding her wounds.
"I'm sorry," he murmured into her.
"For what?"
"For not being able to protect you from these."
Ririna's eyes softened. She lifted an arm and touched the side of his face behind her.
"It wasn't your fault," she whispered to him. His eyes closed, trying to push away his guilt. Tonight was very special; he shouldn't ruin their night because of it.
"You're right. Now, little girl. Where were we?" he asked with a playful tone.
"Hmm… I believe you were about to prove you're still capable, old man." She teased back.
"That I am."
