The Trance.
"You want to come with me?"
Denzel looked at the Dog with pity, it's greyish white fur already stained and tainted with the colour of blood and dirt, red mixed with a dirty brown colour.
The dog kept on squeaking, looking at the ground. Denzel sighed, pat the dog on its head as an approval, and he continued to walk ahead, moving in a pace to let it possible for the injured dog to keep up with him.
He didn't bother looking behind, from the sound coming from the dog, he could tell that the dog was still with him.
They kept on going until the sound of the dog began to fade away. Denzel looked behind to find out what went wrong with the dog.
The dog was reducing in it's speed, and at some point, the dog dropped to the ground.
"Huh?" Denzel asked when he noticed the dog was moving no more. He went back, touched it twice before he made up his mind that something had happened to the dog. The dog went unconscious.
