Denzel could hear that Zero coughed, and out of curiosity, he looked up, only to see the mighty Zero fall to the ground, blood from his chest blotting his shirt. He pulled out the piece of broken screen from Zero's flesh before he even dropped, and he was sure that the bloodstains he saw came from his attack.
Denzel immediately bent down, getting to his knees and looking at Zero the moment he came to a realization of what he had done.
"Zero..." Denzel called, expecting a response, but he got none from the body laying on the ground like a statue, not moving an inch.
Denzel lurched Zero's body on the ground, in a manner to wake him up, but Zero didn't budge. 'Is he dead?' Denzel thought within himself in terror of what he might have done.
"Zero, you can't die... I'm sorry... This is why I never kill a single soul,"
Denzel was still having his mourning session when he heard that erratic signal once more.
