Protector of the World Tree

I suddenly woke up hearing someone calling me. "My child, its time to wake up." I slowly stood up and watched the place surrounding me. I looked behind my back and saw an enormous tree, as if we were one. "My child." Suddenly, creatures coming from different directions appear in front of me, forming a crescent-moon shape. One by one they bowed and flower petals fell from the sky. "Welcome home, my child."

Third Person's POV

The young lad pushed the wooden door, and stepped inside. The warm, herbal scent of the healer's cottage greeted him, a soothing balm against the day's turmoil. The small room was bathed in the soft light of a single oil lamp, and in the corner, the boy lay propped up on a bed of blankets. His eyes, wide and dark, followed the young lad as he entered, a mixture of fear and uncertainty flickering in their depths.

The young lad offered a gentle smile as he crossed the room, lowering himself onto a stool beside the boy. "Hey there," he said softly. "How are you feeling?"

The boy didn't answer immediately. His gaze flickered toward the door as if contemplating escape, but he seemed too weak to move. The young lad waited patiently, understanding the need to give him space.
