MEET WITH GRANDFATHER

Tristan parked his car in the garage. He opened the door for Haruna. However, Haruna had not had time to get out of the car. Chris came over and grabbed Tristan's collar.

"What did you do to Haruna?" Christian asks in an emotional tone.

"I told you, you don't have to interfere with Haruna's and me," replied Tristan nonchalantly.

"Ah! Tristan!" Haruna screams in surprise as Tristan falls down from Christian's punch.

"Haruna, I will take you away from here. Come on!" said Christian.

He grabbed Haruna's hand, but Haruna pushed it away.

Haruna approached Tristan and helped him up. Christian can only gape in disbelief. Haruna chose to help Tristan instead of going with him.

"Tris, are you all right?" Haruna asked worriedly.

"Haruna, you don't need to be afraid. I will help you get out of Tristan and this house," said Chris.

"Sorry, Chris. I'm not going with you. Go home!" said Haruna. She rubbed the corner of Tristan's lips which were bleeding.

Christian doesn't understand Haruna's way of thinking. She lived in that house as a hostage, but why did she refuse to leave the house? Christian don't understand.

A black car stops behind Christian. From inside the car came out an old man who walked with the help of a wooden stick. He wore thick glasses, his face that was no longer tight was still exuding high authority. He walked over to the three of them.

"What's the matter with you two? Did I teach you to fight like this?" Eddie looked at their faces alternately. "Chris, since when have you been so rude to Tristan? And you Tristan, when can you be mature? When can you be more respectful when talking to your Brother?" Edi opened his eyes and glanced at Haruna.

(Is this the girl that Budi said a while ago? She doesn't look like the call woman who usually accompanied Tristan. I have to know who she really is.) Edi muttered to himself.

"Why did Grandpa come here?" Tristan asked. He was sure his grandfather didn't just want to visit him.

"What do you mean I can't come?" Edi glared at Tristan.

"It's not like that, it's just… not usually," said Tristan, lowering his head.

"Chris, you're home! And you Tristan, come in there!" said Eddie.

Christian gets in the car and leaves. He never contradicted his grandfather's words. Christian is actually curious as to why his grandfather came to Tristan's house. However, he did not want to make his grandfather angry. It would be dangerous for his grandfather's high blood pressure.

While Tristan was still standing in front of his grandfather. His grandfather again told Tristan to come inside. This time Tristan complied. He took Haruna's hand and invited her to come in, but her grandfather stopped Tristan in his tracks.

"Wait! You, come with me!" said Eddie.

"Who do you mean … her?" Tristan asked while pointing at Haruna.

"Who else? I don't want to fight with you. Go in alone and leave her here!"

Haruna stiffened. Various questions flashed through Haruna's mind. Why did Tristan's grandfather want to talk to her? Will she be asked to leave Tristan as is usually the case in the movies?

"No! I can't leave Haruna alone with you, Grandpa." Tristan refused.

He didn't know what his grandfather would do. He didn't want to take the risk. Tristan is afraid that Haruna will be asked to leave his house.

"Cough, cough, you … dare to go against my word! Cough…." Edi pretended to be coughing and short of breath.

"Grandpa! Grandpa, are you okay? Grandpa … calms down, Grandpa! I will obey your orders, but you must calm down," Tristan said worriedly. He was very worried to see his grandfather's illness relapse.

Hearing Tristan's words, a small smile tugged at his old lips. Tristan was forced into the house and left Haruna on the terrace with his grandfather. With a heavy heart, Tristan stepped into the house.

"You, come with me!" said Eddie. He got into the car and the driver held the car door for Haruna.

"Please, Miss!" said the driver.

Haruna walked shakily and got into the car. She sat beside Edi while squeezing her own fingers. Her heart was beating fast. Haruna is very afraid of Edi's firm attitude.

"Let's go!" Edi said to the driver.

Tristan watched his grandfather's car leave with dismay. He immediately called Levi to seek information. He couldn't move on his own, but Tristan's spies were everywhere.

Along the way, Edi didn't say anything. He just stood still, leaning his fragile body on the back of the seat. His silence made Haruna even more scared.

"We have arrived, sir," said the driver.

"Hmm," said Eddie slowly. He got out of the car. "Follow me!" He said to Haruna.

Haruna came down and followed Edi. Haruna looked around the house. Very big house, garage and front yard is also very large. She stepped into the house. The marble floor looks very shiny. Haruna could see her reflection clearly.

"The floor is like a mirror. Isn't it slippery?" Haruna thought.

"you're home, Grand master?" A middle-aged woman greeted them.

She glanced at Haruna briefly. Her gaze is not as scary as Edi. She is a senior servant in the Izham family's house.

"Bring two cups of tea to the study!" asked Eddie.

"Very well, sir," replied the servant.

Eddie opened the door to the reading room. He stepped forward and sat on the sofa. He waved at Haruna.

Haruna was amazed to see the rows of books neatly arranged on the bookshelf. She sat down and looked down. Haruna didn't dare look at Edi's face.

"What's your name?"

"I, Haruna, Master," replied Haruna nervously.

"Don't call me Master! Just call Grandpa!" said Eddie. His tone was more relaxed and warm this time, not as cold as before. "So, your name is Haruna. You know Chris?" asked Eddie.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Please come in!"

The waiter came in with drinks and cake. After placing it on the table, she left. An amazed smile appeared on the waiter's lips. It seems she likes Haruna.

(This girl is very beautiful. Is she the one to marry Mr. Chris?) thought the waiter.

"Grandpa! What are you doing? Why did Grandpa bring Haruna here?" Christian suddenly barges in and asks his grandfather in a low voice. Christian must not speak too loudly or else his grandfather's illness could recur at any moment.

"Who told you to come in? Come out and let me talk to her!" ordered Edi while waving his hand.

(Why are these two kids so scared to see Haruna with me? They are both anti-falling in love, could they both fall in love with Haruna? This is complicated.) Edi thought.

"I will be here," Christian replies. He sat next to Eddie.

"Huh, am I not being considered now. Why is everyone disobeying me?" Eddie took a deep breath.

Haruna and Christian looked at each other. Christian doesn't want to leave Haruna. However, Haruna couldn't bear to see Edi so frustrated.

"Chris, I won't do anything wrong. Come out! Don't you feel sorry for Grandpa?" Haruna persuades Christian to come out.

Haruna is also curious about what Edi wants to tell her. If Christian doesn't go, Edi definitely won't talk. So, she persuades Christian. Christian obeys Haruna's orders. Even though he was forced to, he left.

What exactly did Edi want to say to Haruna?
