JEALOUS TRISTAN

Anggi glanced at the clock on the wall in the shop. It's eleven o'clock in the afternoon. She immediately said goodbye to her husband and went to the cafe with Kiara.

"We can meet Mama at the cafe, right, Grandma?" asked Kiara.

"Apparently not, Honey. You can eat what you like there. Grandma will buy whatever Kia wants," said Anggi. She felt sad to see Kiara gloomy.

"Calm down, Kia! We'll be together again soon," Anggi thought.

Kiara seems to have a bond with Haruna. She was sure that she would meet Haruna at the cafe. Her heart was praying that she could really meet her adoptive mother.

***

At the cafe, Haruna got off first, leaving Tristan who had just opened the car door. Haruna couldn't stand Tristan's taunts on the way. Tristan continued to tease Haruna about how his fondling was done to Haruna.

Haruna entered the cafe which was already quite busy with visitors. Haruna didn't know where the table was. She was greeted by Jeff.

"Haruna! You've come. Nice to meet you again," said Jefri.

He kept looking at Haruna's face and smiled sweetly at her. If only Haruna didn't belong to Tristan, Jefri would definitely pursue Haruna's love.

"Ekhem! What did you do to my future wife? You dare to tease him in front of me," sneered Tristan.

Tristan was suddenly standing behind Haruna. He mocked Jefri because he was jealous. Even though Jefri is his friend, he still feels jealous.

"Yo, you are jealous," Jefri mocked.

He laughed at Tristan who glanced at him sharply. Jefri wonders, since when did Tristan forget his first love, Stevi. The feelings that Tristan showed were so deep for Haruna.

"Never mind. I don't know why you should be jealous of me, but now I better take you to your table. Follow me!" Jefri walked first to show Tristan's table.

Jefri pulled a chair for Haruna. This made Tristan even more jealous. He clenched his fists under the table. His gaze couldn't be separated from Haruna's smiling face at Jefri.

"He can thank another man with a smile like that, but in front of me.... Really looking for trouble, just watch out for you!" Tristan thought.

"You just order what you want. I'll treat you today, okay!" said Jefri while winking at Haruna.

Jefri did it on purpose to make Tristan jealous. Since the first, Jefri really likes to tease Tristan. Jefri left them with an amused smile he had been holding back.

"You … flirt! Why keep smiling like that? You're always cursing at me, how come you can be so friendly with other men," Tristan grumbled.

"Isn't she so cute?" Haruna deliberately praised Jefri in front of Tristan. It was fun for Haruna to see this cold and arrogant man in front of an angry. She suppressed an amused smile by drinking water.

"Dare to praise another man in front of me, not afraid?" Tristan asked with a perverted smile that made Haruna pause for a moment.

Now it was Tristan's turn to smile triumphantly. Haruna was silent with only one threat from him.

Not long after, a little girl's voice echoed in the cafe. Haruna stiffened with a fast beating heart. She shed tears hearing the voice of the little girl she missed so much. However, Haruna did not immediately turn around.

"Mama!" call a little girl.

"No way, that's… Kia. That's Kia's voice," Haruna thought.

She turned towards the source of the sound. Haruna's shoulders heaved up and down holding back her sobs.

The little girl ran and hugged Haruna who was sitting transfixed. Haruna couldn't believe that she could meet Kiara here. Haruna lifted Kia to sit on her lap.

While Tristan just smiled at them. Tristan didn't feel angry. He was actually happy to see her.

"Kia, sob. Kia is here with who?" Haruna asked while wiping her tears. She kissed both of her cheeks and her forehead. She hugs Kiara tightly. All of Haruna's longing was spilled in an instant.

At the door, Jefri was talking to Anggi. Anggi didn't realize that Kiara had entered the cafe and met Haruna. She was busy talking to Jefri.

"Hai, Jefri. Congratulations on the opening of the cafe. Oh, yes, introduce me, I'm Anggi, Vivi's mother," said Anggi introducing himself.

"Thank you, Auntie. I am Jefri. Vivi told me that Auntie would come here. I was very curious as to what Vivi's mother was like. After meeting, I now realize why Vivi is so beautiful. It turns out that she is very similar to you," said Jefri small talk.

However, Jefri did not know that Anggi was barren. Vivi and Haruna are not their biological children. So, how can they be similar to Anggi? Anggi is a little gloomy because of it.

"Why is Aunty so sad? Did I say something wrong? Sorry if I was wrong," said Jefri, full of regret.

Intention to praise the heart, but apparently he was wrong. He was not wrong in praising Anggi for being beautiful, it's just that Jefri didn't know that Anggi had no biological children.

"Nothing, Jeff. My two daughters are indeed very beautiful, but not like me. They must be similar to their mother," answered Anggi with a smile.

Jefri understands now, the reason Anggi is sad is that she is not pregnant with them. Vivi is just an adopted child. Jeffrey apologized again. However, Anggi did not feel angry at all. She smiled, forgiving Jeffrey's words.

"Please come in, Auntie! I will take you to your table," said Jefri.

When she was about to step inside, Anggi realized that Kiara was not beside her. She looked around for Kiara. Anggi's strange behavior made Jefri confused.

"Find who, Auntie?"

"Find Kiara, Auntie's grandson," answered Anggi with a worried face.

"Maybe she's already in. Auntie, try to find her first! Who knows if she's there. If she's not there, I'll help find her later."

"Thank you, Jefri. I will try to find it first," said Anggi. Anggi stepped into the cafe, followed by Jefri behind him.

Arriving at the cafe, Jefri immediately ran to the kitchen and told Vivi. "Vi, your mother is in front, but your mother is looking for Kiara. Did she come in here?"

"What? Kiara is missing!" Vivi immediately ran out to meet Anggi, but she was surprised to see her mother sitting with Haruna and Kiara. One other person sitting with them made Vivi angry.

"What's that bastard here for?" mumbled Vivi. Vivi's jaw hardened, her hands clenched into fists, and her eyes flashed with anger.

Jefri saw Vivi's unusual changes. Vivi has worked with him for three days, but this is the first time he has seen the anger and hatred on Vivi's face. Jefri also followed Vivi's view. How surprised he was when he knew where the gaze was directed.

"Tristan! Why does Vivi hate Tristan so much? This is very interesting," Jefri thought.

He cracked a smile. What's really going on with Tristan and Vivi? Jeffrey was very curious.
