 " The city and my seat?!" Galandel blurted out.

 "Yes!"

 " That's preposterous, even if I accept your ludicrous bargain, where are you going to find such amount of money?!"

 " Do you think I'm bluffing?!" I asked coldly.

 " With all you've done for us, it'll be ungrateful of me to think of you in that light. I just find it difficult to believe your claim and besides, I can't give you the city even if I wanted to, the royals wouldn't go well with that suggestion." Galandel shifted to his prim demeanor.

 His reaction was certainly expected, I would have been suspicious if he had acted differently but he was clearly looking down on my wits if he thought I hadn't thought about that.

 " And my seat…." He said under the breath.
