Chapter 7

" Hey Scott, Erica and Boyd got away safely, but you know I think Alison has gone too far this time. I know she must want revenge on Derek but Erica and Boyd are innocent. They weren't even there when Derek bit her mom. You're going to need to talk to her. And oh by the way I punched her pretty hard. " I hung up right away not willing to listen to anymore of his words. However, I soon got call back from Scott almost immediately, I answered and quickly said, " I'm not gonna say sorry for punching Alison. She may be a friend but she's not one of us."

Scott " Meet us at the school. Something has happened."

" What happened."

Scott " Its Jackson... He's dead."

" Come on Scott, I thought you and Isaac were there. How did that happen? Whatever, explain to me once I get there.

I soon arrived at the school and met them at their lacrosse locker room while avoiding the cops that were outside the school. I walked towards them as I pinched my nose bridge I sighed, " Scott, this is what happens when you let things go a hunter's way. Now what? What are we supposed to do now? Go to war with the Argents? From what I've seen almost everything has been going his way. Although Alison's mother died, I'm pretty sure he has roped in Alison in being a revenge hungry hunter. You didn't see what I've seen. Boyd and Erica might've died or have been captured and then tortured."

Scott " We were caught unprepared. Gerald made Jackson do it to himself. Furthermore, Stiles is missing. We're here to find him."

Sighing once more. " I'm guessing Gerald took him so that he will have leverage over you. "

Scott " Most likely. But it'll be alright. We will find him. We will find out what Gerald is up to. We just need to figure out what's happening to Jackson."

" So you're gonna find him by scent?"

Scott " We me and Issac are. We could use your help too."

Just as I was about to answer, I felt a presence that had suddenly appeared and turned around with high alert. But soon I lowered my guard once I noticed who it was. It was Derek.

Derek " We need to talk."

Afterwards, Peter walked behind him and looked towards me before saying to Derek, " This is him? Aaron right? The new werewolf family in town."

Looking at the werewolf that I haven't seen yet before, " And you must be Peter. And Derek, you're welcome by the way for saving your betas from being captured or killed by Alison and her dad."

Derek, " Where did they go?"

" That I don't know. After I stopped Alison, I told them to run and they did. If they're not with you then I have no idea."

Derek " Well I will find them after we deal with Gerald then. But Scott, what is the deal with you. Why did I overhear you talking to Gerald about working together? Look at what has happened because you let him have his way."

I narrowed my eyes when I heard Derek saying that, " What?! Are you an idiot? You said that you will handle the situation."

Scott said defensively, " I had no choice, he was threatening my mom."

Isaac " So what's the plan? Why is Peter here?"

Derek, " The short version is that he knows about Jackson and knows how to stop him."

Scott, " Well that's gonna be a problem because Jackson is dead. "

After saying this, Derek and Peter narrowed their eyes questioningly and in frustration.

Isaac " Why isn't anyone looking at this as a good thing. "

Peter " If Jackson is dead it is because it didn't just happen, it's because Jerald wants him to be."

Derek " But why, what does this mean."

Peter " Well that's exactly what we need to figure out."

" Well that's obvious. I'm going to home and ask my parents what happens when a controlled Kanima dies by it's own wound, since when I slashed its throat last time it didn't die. Peter and Derek can come with me. In the meantime, Scott, determine Gerald's plan and then meet up to deal with him accordingly. Keep in contact if anything unknown happens."

Peter looked around for a brief moment and no one disagreed with me.

Peter " Well then, seeing that no one has objections, guess we'll go with that."

I then headed out with the two following behind closely. Several minutes later, I enter my home with Derek and Peter and saw that my mom had just finished cooking and my father was sitting at the dinning table while working on his laptop. They saw that I was not alone and smiled.

Nueva, " Son have you come home? I see that you brought some friends."

" Uh yes mom. We came home because we have some questions."

Nueva, " Yes, honey, what's your question."

" What happens when a Kanima dies by it's own claws on the order of it's master?"

Hearing this, my father looks up at me and smiled. He gets up and walks past me and walks in front of Derek. Tension begins to rise and Derek's eyes grow red in which my father responds the same.

Starrk " Are you the Alpha of this town?"

Derek " Yes. Is there a problem with that?"

Starrk smiled and walked to Peter as he looked at him up and down, " Interesting. To think a werewolf knows how to come back from the dead. Must be feeling a little weak from your resurrection. Is your family the original werewolves of this town?"

Peter narrows his eyes of being found out so easily.

Derek " Yes, my family has been in this town since its founding. "

Starrk " As you probably know, a Kanima is a werewolf that is in constant turnmoil of itself because of its questionable or unknown origins. But its current form is that of a beta. If it's master or friend wishes for it the host to die then when the host dies, the Kanima would be fully released as the beastly side has won and it will take it's alpha form. It will be enveloped in a cocoon like state covered in its own venom. If it is in this state for an extended period of time, it will evolve and become much bigger and stronger and even grow wings on its back. By itself, it can take on an alpha and its pack. To stop it, you must interrupt the process by attacking its master as it will protect him in this state. However, if the Kanima fully evolves, it will no longer listen to its master/friend and be a truly uncontrollable beast. "

Derek " What about the ancient myths of werewolves. That to turn back a werewolf into a human then you need to call out its true name. Will that work?"

Starrk " Oh, so you know about that too. Well that indeed is true, but that is only for special circumstances and certain steps. For this Kanima's case, there needs to be someone who is special in this person's life to call out his name and draw out his human side."

Derek " there's a girl. She seems special after she was bitten by Peter when he was an alpha. She didn't turn into a werewolf and she was immune to the Kanima's venom when ingested."

Starrk looked at Nueva, " interesting town that we decided to come isn't it."

Nueva " Yes it is."

Starrk looked at us and continued, " Only a few humans are immune to the peculiarities of the super natural. If she is a woman, unless she has a family history of being druids, there is a highly likely chance of her being a banshee for they are humans that are tied to the the supernatural world and are said to be harbingers of death as they can see and foretold death. If it is a male, they are either druids or a supernatural creature called hellhounds who also see death and protect the super natural world. "

Peter " A banshee. Lydia is a banshee huh."

Starrk " If she is the girl you are talking about then with her, she will be able to draw out the human side of the Kanima's host. Then you can do what you must do."

After my dad finished the explanation, my phone ring and I picked up.

Scott " Hey did you guys find out what's going on with Jackson yet, because we got a situation. Jackson seems to be covered with his own venom and seems to also be moving."

Hearing my conversation, Derek yells out, " Scott quick, you have to get him out of there. Head over to the location that I'm about to send right away. We'll explain things on the way."
