The Gregorian Continent

He was currently on the Gregorian continent, there were two other continents but Matthews didn't have an idea of them. The Gregorian continent had 3 empires and different kingdoms. There was the Empire of light, the Orc empire, and the half-kin empire. There were two major kingdoms in the Empire of Light: The kingdom of Humans and the Elven kingdom.

Long ago, the continent was plagued by dark shadow creatures, there were varieties of these shadow creatures. The only thing they all had in common was that they were all inky black and they had red eyes. After years of suppression, 4 heroes rose and fought these creatures. They were David, a human enforcer knight that had the attribute to use light ether energy, Priscilla, an archer elf that had wood and life ether energy, Shittu, An Orc berserker that focuses only on brute strength due to the physical anatomy of Orcs, it is difficult for orcs to manifest ether and Daello, A half beast kin that looked like a wolf who was both a dual caster and enforcer that could utilize both lunar and ice ether energy.

These heroes fought against the strongest of the shadow creatures and were winning but they started to be overwhelmed by the less powerful ones. It was a dire situation, it was dreary and in their time of need. Warriors from all over the continent banded together and fought as one. Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs, Vampires, beast-kins, and others all fought together despite their differences and emerged victorious.

The four heroes celebrated but had to separate, they created their respectful empires but due to their camaraderie, there were no disputes between them. David and Priscilla fell in love and created one empire to govern both humans and Elves, Shittu became the Orc Emperor and governed peacefully yet strictly while Daello was the Emperor of beast and half-kins.

Centuries passed and their descendants slowly seemed to forget the camaraderie their predecessors shared and battled each other for land and wealth but it never escalated to full-blown wars.

Currently, Licht was in the Kingdom of Humans under the Empire of Light. He sighed after sitting for a while.

"I have to plan what I'm going to do, being asleep for 5,000 years is tiring. I also have to find my power fragments before that guy awakens, I could feel he was sleeping when I got unsealed, it would be another three years before he awakens, I guess. So I have less than three years to become what I once was and even more powerful" His eyes had a mysterious glint and a cold mischievous smirk on his face, then he said, "This is going to be exciting".
