CHAPTER 26  

John looked at the butler who followed him and asked, "What do you want?"

John and Henry were walking and Henry spoke, "You have helped us a lot by connecting the world but we do not have much items. We cannot sell items needed and there is not industry there. I can only come in hope that you create something different."

John said, "How is the mineral distribution there?"

Henry asked, "Does it matter anymore?"

John said, "It does for certain things but for another hundred years it may not so. It would be impossible for the civilization to understand and dabble in the field of electronics and I can have better achievement in the same thing. You are right. There is nothing that you can do."

Henry asked, "Is there really nothing you can do like changing the temperature?"

John said, "The temperature cannot be changes on a large scale as I do not know what would happen to the world and how it will affect the climate cycle. That is not possible for now. The better option for now would be to use the heater that I had created." The heater would have temperature released as the material were observed at higher temperature and simulated as such. 

Henry said, "But we have no method to produce gold coins. Others have the methods to create items and they have the methods to sell them. We have no method to produce food or item or to create unique items. There are many like us who cannot do anything."

John said, "I have let the world develop and you cannot do anything about it. It would be better to have more items than do not have it. Maybe you can start working on new items to create more chemical compounds and create more items. You can also try to create better food. But the problem is that your basic necessity is not fulfilled. You are indeed in a huge problem and will most likely lose your population to the other kingdoms as long as they are ready to accept it. The nobles and royals of the Yeti kingdom is indeed going to face a big problem. So, what are your plans?"

Henry said, "What if the music could be recorded and stored so that it could be sold?"

John said, "You are not a professional and your people are not professionals. Intellectual property needs to be bought by someone and if people do not have food, they will not buy other things."

John and Henry entered the dining room and John sat on the chair while Henry poured the wine for John. John took the wine and drank it. Henry spoke, "We can work for you directly."

John said, "So can anyone. Unless you bring your own methods to create anything I may create machines to use them for your industries but your cleverness is not good enough for me to give you such things."

Henry was sad but he did not show it. He had taken the step and was ready to fail as always. There is nothing that he could do as it was not his power that he needed but another person's/ John thought and said, "I can give you better weapons and faster transportation items. You can form better tactics and try to take over more land and territories. I will also grant you flying machines that is useful to each person. You can pay after you take over the land within five years. The more land you have, the more money you get. You are allowed to tax up to sixty percent so you can get more money and recover your economy."

Henry asked, "Wouldn't that be against what you want? Wouldn't many more people suffer?"

John said, "All beings suffer as they are bound by desires. The resources of this world are limited and the population is more. Unless all the planets in the world are suitable with human ecology, you cannot get more resources. At most you will just stay at the interplanetary stage and still would not be able to rise above a billion people. Technology needs to break through."

Henry asked, "Why don't you set up a research centre for that."

John did not care about those as he could get it from other worlds and the idea of learning those things were useless as he could not control the items of lower stature. The better idea would be to create more items as per his power when getting bored and enjoy time here. He just had to keep the world under control and they will keep trying to fight against him and give more research into science when they find science. He just did not have to care and said, "I will not support as such. You are strong enough due to your background and clever enough to know when to speak but the fact remains that you are worthless in a constructive manner. You can utmost manage the world but cannot let it advance. I gave you a chance and if you can manage your army and get more land, I may make you an official directly under me and I will take care of you. You are of no other use."

Henry said, "I just want to serve you your excellency."

John looked at him and asked, "What do you want?"

Henry said, "I do not want any other position by to stay by your side and take care of your needs."

John said, "You are not a woman to stay by my side."

Henry said, "The strong kings have their butlers who have position stronger than the dukes of the kingdom."

John said, "Prove it in the war. If you die you lose. If you do not gain much land, you lose. If you do not make a name you lost. If you still want to work for me as a butler after you lose then you can just remain an ordinary butler till death. If you want to become the strong beside me, then after doing such actions I will make you my divine emissary and will give you an attack type mecha. Announce that there are 7 positions for the emissaries. You can work for it. I will grant you an attack type mecha for now."

Henry bowed and said, "Thank you sir."
