Peak through future

Mo Feng could only thank Lu Bao for the favour he had done on him, he owed him for a lifetime as he said,

"Thanks for saving my life, my friend."

"You don't owe me anything, because I also owed you a lifetime when you saved me."

As they looked at each other they saw a friendship of more than fifteen years, they had seen ups and downs of each other, they fought together and they fought for each other, only the difference was Lu Bao was the known king of underworld and Mo Feng was the king of business world, but both started together not by their family names but two individuals with enough courage of killing someone. Only the difference was Mo Feng was more discreet in the underworld, his name was unknown and Lu Bao was more discreet in the business world, nobody exactly knew what Lu Bao did but there was a rumour that his company supplied arms and ammunition's in their army.

"Make your relationship public, nobody will touch her."

Lu Bao stated.

To that Mo Feng answered,

"I know, I am going too."

"Good because I can't always save her, and so can't you!"

"She is my wife, if something happens to her I will die a thousand deaths."

"I know, so keep her safe and with that saying, we have a lead on jokers."

Annoyed by the change of the topic Mo Feng warned Lu Bao.

"Let's not talk about that here."

"Then I will take your leave."

As Lu Bao said this Mo Feng stopped him,

"Are you seeing someone?"

"No."

"Tang Chunhua?"

"I am not seeing her, but I will."

Nodding at him Mo Feng assisted Lu Bao down where he saw Tang Ling crying in the shoulders of Tang Cong.

Ignoring her both of them went to the garage but they suddenly heard small but hurried footsteps running towards them, turning they saw red Tang Ling in front of them as she turned to Lu Bao and thanked him,

"Thanks for saving my dignity today."

Lu Bao was a person who never usually spoke to anyone, he even spoke less with his close friends but he knew who she was so he assured her softly,

"No need, you are like a sister, I can never let that happened you."

Smiling Mo Feng patted Lu Bao's shoulder as he sent him off.

Coming in he told Tang cousins to sleep in their house as it was already late so he told Li Bai to show them their rooms, as she took both of them on the upper floor, Mo Feng took Tang Ling's hand in his, pulling her close to him he whispered,

"I am happy Lu Bao was there!"

Innocently looking at him, she firmly told him,

"He is not going to be there always."

"I know."

"So teach me self defence techniques so I can look after myself."

Shocked by her statement he looked at her flabbergasted, as he asked her,

"You of all people will sweat herself."

Smiling at his question she said something which in his entire life he never forgot, because she proved it to him that she made a promise to him for a lifetime, as she said.

"I am a Mo now, I have to be strong to support you, not only mentally but also physically and I will, I'd give my life for you."

Cupping her face he told her,

"I will myself teach you, and if something happens to you I will pull you out, even if it's death I will let nothing come between us I promise."

After this day they never fought because they sacrificed, compromised and loved for each other, because when the time came they did what they promised each other, they saved each other's lives that day, as she promised, she gave her life for him

And he did, what he promised, when the time came he saved her.
