In the cold, unforgiving confines of the police station, I couldn't help but notice the bizarre reflection of my own face staring back at me through the glass. An amalgamation of anger, fatigue, and frustration etched across my features. It felt as though I had been thrust into this world merely to endure an unending barrage of misfortunes.

Questions gnawed at my mind like relentless pests. Who could I turn to in my hour of need? Would anyone truly believe in my innocence? Perhaps I should have simply walked away from it all, leaving this mess behind. In that alternate reality, I would have been in a better place, engaged in fruitful negotiations with my agent.
