Chapter 30.

Andrew thought of slapping this informant of his but as he looked around he couldn't find anything. Forget slapping him, hitting his head with a plank should do the work. Or maybe just killing him and feeding his body to the dogs would do a faster job for him.

Miles could tell what his brother was thinking, he watched as his brother thought of the most annoying way to respond to this guy. He hissed and twisted his lips in annoyance.

"If I get you there in the next second, you will hate yourself. Common get out of here and let her come up"

He rushed out holding his cap in a way to prevent it from falling off but it still fell off, as he bent down to get it he saw Anna infront if him. She probably ran out of patient and could not wait anymore. When she walked in initially he had told her to wait outside while he goes in to ask his boss if she should be allowed in. She had been gone only one day, why does it look like they made new rules the moment she left.

She pushed him out of her way as she made her way up the stairs, she opened the door and Angel rushed towards her father, hugging and kissing him.

"Oh I miss you so much my love, why did you allow mummy to take you away, don't you know Daddy would miss you too much?

Anna watched as he showered Angel with kisses on her Crown and checked her body for injuries.

Miles walked towards Anna checking her out. He hasn't been told what happened that drove his brother's wife out of the house, but he was willing to find out before leaving. As the youngest son of the Anderson family he wasn't regarded as he should and he doesn't like it one bit. Whenever issues that was serious comes up he was always the last to get the information and they don't consult him which was why he was very happy the moment his brother called him to tell him Anna was missing with his niece. He also told him not to get other family members involved and that have given Miles a sense of responsibility.

"What happened to you sister in-law?

He asked as he hugged her and she hugged him back but her eyes never leaving Andrew's

"Why did you leave like that? Did my brother do something to you? Did he hit you? Did he wrong you? Did you ask him for something and he refused to give to you?

He was about to ask another question but Anna nodded her head to tell him that it wasn't any of the things he was thinking about. He wanted to say another thing but Angel rushed down to meet him and he grabbed her with his one hand, he looked at Anna again but her gaze was fixated on Andrew, he knew his presence was not needed at the time because even his brother was also gazing at her like if he looked away she was going to go missing again. Miles carried Angel up high and walked away, leaving the two love birds to continue to gaze at each other if that would solve the problem but he really doesn't want to be sent to the dog house with what is likely to happen if their gaze continues.

As he stepped out carrying Angel, he slammed the door and smiled knowing that they couldn't be distracted by anyone not even him unless they open it from inside.
