Chapter 38 : Never Enough
*Trinity's POV*
I pulled the door open and sucked in a breath as I saw Matthew standing on the other side. I knew that Matthew was a handsome man, but this was something else.
Damn he looked good.
He wore suits and nice clothes frequently, but this suit was next level and designer. I remembered that I was the one to go and pick it up for him, but seeing it on a hanger was completely different from seeing it in person.
And maybe it was just that because I liked him now, and was more open with my feelings, that I could really appreciate his looks. Whereas before, I tried to ignore his good looks on purpose. There was no ignoring them now, that was for certain.
I blinked rapidly and cleared my throat.
"You look lovely," Matthew said as he examined me from head to toe, already making the warmth spread through my body.
"You look handsome as well," I noted and I could swear that I saw a twinkle in his eye.
He extended his arm to me, but I paused before taking it.
