The King and Queen Part I

Location: Route 22, Kanto Region

Bianca and Leaf are looking on their way back to where they gathered with Red and Blue. However, in front of them was a pair of Nidorans that they had previously met standing in the middle of the road.

"Bianca, weren't those Nidorans earlier?" Leaf asked, pointing at the Nidorans.

"Right. What are they doing here? " Bianca was surprised to see the pair of Nidorans.

Suddenly, the pair of Nidorans attacked Bianca and Leaf.

"Nido!" Nidoran♂ uses his Poison Sting.

"Aah!" Bianca and Leaf were taken aback by Nidoran♂ who suddenly attacked it and immediately dodged his attack.

"Come on, let's get out of here," Bianca grabbed Leaf's hand and ran away from the Nidorans.

Elsewhere, Blue was at the riverbank to fetch water.

"Is there enough water, Blastoise?" asked Blue.

"Blast," Blastoise replied indicating the water he was carrying in his cannon was full.

"Then, let's-" Blue suddenly sensed something was watching them.

Blue and Blastoise are watching the area around them.

"Nido!" a pokemon jumping from the bush attacked Blue and Blastoise.

"Blastoise! Hurry! Protect!" Blue immediately told Blastoise to use his move.

*Bang*

The pokemon attack was successfully thwarted by Blastoise's Protect.

"Damn. What kind of Pokemon attack us?" Blue tries to see the Pokemon attacking him.

The Pokemon jumped backward away from Blue and Blastoise because the surprise attack failed.

"Is that... Nidoqueen?" Blue sees a Nidoqueen attacking him.

At Red's place, Charizard is fighting the Pokemon that are attacking them too.

*Roar*

Charizard uses his Flamethrower move to attack the Pokemon. The Pokemon didn't dodge and took Charizard's attack. However, the Pokemon didn't seem affected by the Charizard move.

'Nidoking. A Drill Pokemon. Poison, Ground-type. When it goes on a rampage, it's impossible to control. But in the presence of a Nidoqueen, it's lived with for a long time, Nidoking calms down.' Data about Nidoking on Pokedex.

"Nido!" Nidoking was not influenced at all by Charizard's Flamethrower.

Red realizes that Nidoking is also a Ground-type. However, Red only intends to expel the Nidoking as requested by Bianca. But it seems that what he was doing made Nidoking even more willing to fight Charizard.

"Nido!" The Nidoking ran towards Charizard to attack him with his Poison Tail.

With alacrity, Red orders Charizard to fly away from Nidoking's attack. Charizard follows Red's orders and flies into the sky. Red knows that Charizard's fire moves aren't very effective against Nidoking. However, Nidoking also cannot attack Charizard using Ground-type moves because Charizard is a Flying-type.

The Nidoking looked up at the sky and waited for Charizard to come down as he didn't have any long-range attacks. However, Nidoking sees Red standing in front of him and decides to attack Red.

"Nido!" Nidoking uses Megahorn's move to attack Red.

Red is surprised that Nidoking chooses to attack him. Red who is shocked can only be standing and doesn't move to see the Nidoking running towards him. Instantly, Charizard flew towards Nidoking to stop him. Nidoking, who knew Charizard was flying towards him, immediately turned around and attacked Charizard with his Poison Tail.

*Bam*

Charizard, who was flying too fast, couldn't stop and was finally hit by an attack from Nidoking. The Nidoking attack sent Charizard flying away and the effect of his attack made Charizard poisoned.

Red is very surprised to see that Nidoking is so good at fighting. Red also thinks of a way to beat Nidoking.

Returning to where Bianca and Leaf were, they continued to run from the pursuit of the Nidorans. They kept on running until finally, they hit a dead end. Bianca and Leaf stopped because they were trapped by a very high ravine and they were unable to climb the chasm.

"What should we do?" Leaf asked as she saw the Nidorans running towards her.

"They are just a pair of Nidorans. We also have a pair of Pokemon, right? Looks like there's no other way but to fight them," Bianca replied, throwing her Pokeball.

*Poof*

Bianca called out her Minccino.

"Minccino, we are going to fight those Nidorans again. Please help," said Bianca.

"Min!" Minccino prepared himself.

"So we have to fight? All right. Bulbasaur! Come out!" Leaf takes out Bulbasaur.

"Bulba!" Bulbasaur looked ready to fight.

"This is our first fight against wild Pokemon. So, please guide me," said Leaf.

"This is your first fight, huh? Okay. I will show you the basics in the fight against wild Pokemon," replied Bianca.

"Nido!" the Nidorans began to attack Bianca and Leaf at the same time.

Nidoran♂ uses his Poison Jab while Nidoran♀ uses Poison Fang.

"Leaf, attack them after me," said Bianca.

"Got it," Leaf replied.

"Minccino, use Hyper Voice!" Bianca ordered Minccino to attack.

"Min... Cci... Nooo!!" Minccino used his moves.

"Nido!" The movement of the Nidorans was stopped because they were interrupted by Minccino's move.

"Leaf! Now!" Bianca orders Leaf to attack.

"All right. Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf!" Leaf starts attacking with Bulbasaur.

"Bulba!" Bulbasaur uses his moves.

"Nido!" the Nidorans were hit by Bulbasaur's move.

"Good! Even though the Grass-type attacks didn't have much effect, at least the Hyper Voice and Razor Leaf hit them," said Bianca.

"Wow! You see that, Bulbasaur ?! We managed to fight those Nidorans," Leaf was excited about his first fight.

"Don't be happy just yet. They will not lose that easily," said Bianca.

"Nido! Nido!" the Nidorans started attacking Bianca and Leaf again.

"Minccino, use Hyper Voice again!" Bianca told Minccino to use Hyper Voice again.

"Min... Cci... Nooo!" Minccino used the same move on the Nidorans.

"Nido!" the Nidorans dodged Minccino's Hyper Voice attack.

"They avoided!" Leaf was surprised that the Nidorans avoided Minccino's attack.

"Don't worry. Minccino, Swift!" Bianca told Minccino to use another move.

"Minccino!" Minccino uses his Swift.

"Nido!" The two Nidorans were hit by Minccino's Swift stance.

"It hit!" shouted Leaf.

"Swift is a move that never misses," said Bianca.

"Let's end this fight," said Leaf.

"Sure. Minccino, Sing! " Bianca made Minccino sing.

"Mi... N~ Cci... No~ Mi-N... Cciii~ No~" Minccino started singing.

"Ni... Do..." The two Nidorans were getting sleepy.

"This move can't make them sleep one hundred percent. Can you add to their sleepiness?" Bianca asked Leaf to put them to sleep too.

"Okay. Bulbasaur, Sleep Powder!" Leaf tells Bulbasaur to use Sleep Powder.

"Bulba!" Bulbasaur produces a powder that can put the Nidorants to sleep.

"Ni... D... O..." The Nidorans finally fell asleep due to the effects of Minccino and Bulbasaur's moves.

"Good. This is our chance," said Bianca inviting Leaf to run away leaving the Nidorans.

Bianca and Leaf ran back to where they parted ways with Red and Blue to meet them.
