Red walked on the road alone, a thick billowing wind surrounding him as he had his hands in his pockets and a small smile on his face as he walked to Moon Town's Lake.
In this lake like any other water body, Water Pokemon could be found. Although these water Pokemon would mainly be MAGIKARP, the most recurring Pokemon in the world!
He didn't have anything against Magikarp, hell their evolution Gyrados was nothing more than badass in his honest opinion. Yet why did they have to spend so much time in the Magikarp stage???
In this world, One could have a Magikarp for no less than 6 months and even then, It wouldn't evolve unless hitting specific conditions. And each Magikarp had their conditions, since they were not the same. But even with all the complaints about Magikarp, He still planned to get one.
Who wouldn't want a powerful Gyrados under their control? Besides he would need it for the Quartz Conference, the intense difficulty it offered was mind boggling. The original wouldn't have been able to rank high in just his first time.
…
The Power plant was not big, neither was it small. It was somewhat in between and this plant was responsible for providing energy to the entire town. It might not be much but the town took a lot of power, More so than a small city. Why? Nurse Joy was rapidly dealing with trainers coming from Mt. Moon and going to Mt. Moon. That alone was her key job and Red didn't want to go into mentioning the Pokemon from Civilians as well as Local hikers.
Everything was down to him… and he felt a little bit of excitement surge through his veins.
Humans would always be humans no matter what generation or world it was, They would always scam fellow human beings and tried to garner a higher gain from every little thing.
Red stood in front of the Power plant, Of course the Security guards were stationed at each side of the main door, each of them gripping their Pokeballs to call out their Pokemon if Red made any bad moves but his gaze was locked with the Network tower.
"No unauthorized access," One of two guards said.
Red took a Pokeball from his waistband and twirled it around his fingers.
"I don't like your kind of guys to be honest," Red said and threw the Pokeball forward revealing Gastly, The eerie presence of the ghost Pokemon spreading through the arena as the guards felt a tingle down their spine… and then the ghost erupted into a laughter, a maniac laughter that sent more chills down their spines but nevertheless they sent out their Pokemon…
"Geodude!"
"Onix!"
Red of course had no intention of facing the League officers currently standing outside Mt. Moon, He would get beat up badly. They had Pokemon over LV. 40 for crying out loud!
A smirk curled up his lips as he cracked his knuckles.
"Ice Beam Barrage!" Red ordered.
Ghost and Ice weren't too far apart and Gastly upon gaining more ghostly energy, had further increased the proficiency of it's Ice moves but Red knew he still needed to work on it. For now a barrage of Ice beams was the highest that Gastly could fire.
The aura around Gastly became frigid as cold ice encircled the Pokemon, a pure orb of ice energy forming in it's mouth and shooting forward, It didn't go far before dividing into eight beams, each packed with energy.
Gastly had shared them accordingly, Four beams per Pokemon which was honestly smart in Red's opinion.
"Geodude, Rock Throw!" The guard ordered but it was of no use, The first beam of ice impacted trapping Geodude in a torrent of ice energy and then the others followed briefly, creating an explosion of ice energy.
The guard gulped and then turned to the other guard, seeing the same thing had happened to his Onix… A feeling of pervading fear pulsated through his fragile heart. Red stepped forward, through the frigid aura with Gastly behind him as he walked to the door and kicked it open.
"What's the point of making an entrance if I don't come in through the front door?!" Red exclaimed as he walked in.
…
Situations like these needed adequate planning, finding more about the base of operations but Red didn't need anything like that, He just expanded his aura sense once in the reach of the Base… After sensing that none of the Pokemon here were more powerful than Charmeleon, He entered.
The network tower was devoid of any life which meant the thieves here were controlling the tower remotely.
Red stormed through door after door, Sure the guards had been easy to take care of but note that they hadn't been weak, He had used all of Gastly's traits down to the latter from ghostliness to unpredictability and everything worked pretty much how he planned out, They had been too shocked to give off attacks.
He could make out five presences some doors away from where he was and of course he knew that these were the people he was searching for… His Pokemon needed the best and how could he call himself a Trainer if he sat idly by and gave these thieves what they wanted… Besides a busty pink haired babe was waiting for news.
…
Red opened the last door and was in a seeming meeting room, A round table was arranged and on this round table were six chairs, five of these chairs were occupied by people.
The first one being a fat man with blond spiky hair, He looked to be middle aged and a little bit handsome, Red would give him a 2 / 10 because of his chubbiness.
The second one was a slim bony man with matted brown hair, he wore a small suit and glasses. The one Red assumed to be the network personnel.
The third one was a middle aged woman with long black hair, she had nice boobs and was wearing black overalls.
The fourth and fifth looked identical, Hell they had their hands linked by a metallic machine and had brown hair that covered their eyes… All of the people in the room looked at Red with surprise and he decided to ease the tension.
"Yo, What's up?"
