When Ryan woke up he saw that he was in an bright room. The place was half as big as the indigo stadium. When he sat up he saw that there were more than 70 people either standing or sitting down. 'I have to train my self more I couldn't even see the lady's movement nor feel any pain. I am not scared but excited, I have to train my aura and reach that lady's level.

I already know Akido, Karate, Judo thanks to practice in my previous life.' thought Ryan. Well it is Team Rocket, they would naturally want to keep the location of the base a secret. According to the information of my previous world, one would laugh if I say I joined Team Rocket. Its mainly because of the anime.

Jessie & James along with Meowth ruined the reputation of Team Rocket single handedly. If one were to refer to manga and games they will know that Team Rocket is undeniably the most powerful shadow organization. This is because they are able to establish bases in each region when Jessie & James chased Ash's Pikachu.

So if Ryan wants to reach the peak of Pokémon trainers without relying on the Corrupt Council then Team Rocket is the right way for him. Besides it is Giovanni we are talking about!. He is undoubtedly strong and intelligent. He was able to run Team Rocket as its boss right under the Indigo league's nose! even if he is an gym leader he was able to keep himself out of the range of suspicion.

Not to mention Lt.Surge, Koga, Blaine and Sabrina are also a part of Team Rocket. More than half the gym leaders of Kanto region are in Team Rocket. Giovanni also has bases at Jhoto too. Soon Jhoto will also be under his thumb. He will soon have 2 regions under his thumb and no one will know he is the boss of Team Rocket.

Ryan waited for an hour or so. At this time, at random people appear from seemingly nowhere knocked out. 'They probably were teleported. They are trying hard for an rookie exam. . . . either Team Rocket is desperately in need of rookies or. . . they are trying to take away the promising trainers from the clutches of Council.' thought Ryan.

"ASSEMBLE YOU MONGRELS " a voice boomed. Everyone turned to the direction of the voice. Soon a lady in her mid twenties with Pale blonde hair, voluptuous body , deep amber eyes which can see right through your soul. She has an allure around her that would make any man drool at the sight of her, yet she is releasing a deadly aura that says 'RUN'.

"My name is Lilliana Slenner, I am the Supervisor for this exam." she said. "Team Rocket only care about your potential, talent. The boss has been in an foul mood because the last batch were absolutely worse. He hopes that at least this batch would be a good crop. Do any of you can guess what happened to the previous batch?" She questioned.

No one answered. Actually no one dared to answer. "You with Red hat what do you think happened to them" she asked Ryan. "They died" Ryan said in an emotionless voice. Many people got shivers down their spine. "It seems that one of you mongrels are competent. You are right. They all died an gruesome death." She said. "Being in team Rocket is not an fun thing, it is putting your life on the line. So do your best to survive Mongrels." she said.

"Anyway there is a room with 300 pokeballs there" She said pointing to the room. "There are two columns one has newly caught pokemon that are quite easy to tame but you have only 5 choices Grimer, Zubat, Ekans, Koffing, Rattata." she said and continued "While the other row has pokemon are different. They can be any type of pokemon but the pokemon are aggressive and have tasted blood. They have killed many trainers before you so choose wisely." she finished.

Everyone formed a line went into the room one by one taking a pokemon. Soon it was Ryans turn he went into the room. The room was blank and the colour was dark grey. The only thing in the room were the pokeballs and their stands. Ryan went to the other column where there were different pokemon. "So you dared to take a pokemon from here" said Lilliana. He just took the pokeball which was named 'Pikachu'.

He wanted to honor Pichu by taking its line as his starter. "Nasty one that was, powerful but very unruly. Killed 17 trainers before you with a thunder shock alone." she said trying to intimidate Ryan. Ryan didn't fall for it but said "If one cannot overcome small hurdles such as this in this world then dying is better than living." Seeing him she told "You have guts boy I'll tell you that. Try to survive."

"Now that all of you Mongrels have a pokemon. I'll tell you your first task. Your first task is to tame your pokemon within ten days and them your starter or partner whatever you want to call them. The time starts from tonight 00:00 AM. If you fail you become lowest of the low: Team Rocket workers." she said.

"Also before I forget, the first ten to tame their pokemon will be rewarded. The higher you rank the higher the reward will be". The faces of the recruits which showed nervousness were replaced by greed.

On the other hand Ryan knew exactly what the supervisor is trying to do. 'She very well knows that if a trainer tries to use a pokemon he/ she didn't catch, the pokemon will not listen to them, especially when the said trainer is a beginner. This is why most of the traded pokemon don't listen to their trainers. She is trying to get rid of the weeds.' thought Ryan.

Soon almost all the recruits released their pokemon. As soon as I saw this, I along with some other recruits who sensed something wrong moved towards the supervisor and the members.

"Rattata use tackle" "Ekans leer" "Grimer use sludge bomb" "Zubat use wing attack" "Koffing tackle"

Different commands were heard but none of the pokemon listened to them. The recruits most likely grew up listening the fairy tales of how the Council's pokemon will listen every command. According to these people as long as you have a pokemon in a pokeball they will listen your command. Because of this they ended up embarrassing themselves.

Seeing this, few people on Ryan's side couldn't help but smirk or snicker at them. Seeing that they have become laughing stalk, some idiotic recruits started to hit there pokemon thinking that that the pokemon won't hit them.

As they resorted to violence the pokemon started to hit the recruits with moves. Soon chaos ensued. Several of the recruits died, Ratattas started to bite and tackle the trainers, Ekans poisoned everyone who were in there way, Grimers used body slam and chocked the trainers while the Zubats sucked the blood of their 'trainers', but Koffings were whole new story, they straight out exploded killing people as lumps of flesh flew and blood stained the floor crimson leaving them mangled.

The team Rocket members released their Pokémon and suppressed the Pokémon which were going wild and returned them to their Pokéballs. Out of 200 people more than 50 people died in this incident. "It seems like we have separated the good Mongrels from the bad Mongrels. I had told them the time starts from 00:00 AM but they didn't listen to me." she said in sadistic voice " Also you all don't get happy, you mongrels are still mongrels." She said and left.

"It seems like I have to try and tame my pokemon tomorrow" Ryan whispered under his breath.
