Ryan and the trainers group were now trekking into the mid zone of the Forest.
"We will rest here. It will soon be night time" Wendell said.
"I agree, we may be prone to pokemon attacks at night easily." Ryan said agreeing.
Soon all of them started to gather firewood and started a campfire. Soon tents were also put up and food was prepared.
"We are having herbal stew are you okay with it?" Alicia asked Ryan who just nodded while writing his discoveries in his journals so that he can give it to Prof. Oak
"Hey you could answer her by telling yes or no" shouted Alex.
"Keep you sound down or we will be ambushed by pokemon. Also Miss Alicia I'm sorry I was engrossed in writing the things I have observed." Ryan said.
Alex was went bright red for doing an rookie mistake while others laughed at his misfortune. Soon dinner was served. It was an quite affair. That's when Alicia asked a question.
"Mr. Mortimer-" she started.
"Ryan is fine" said Ryan.
"Ok Ryan, can you tell me what exactly you are researching to come to such a dangerous place"
"No place is safe or dangerous." said Ryan before getting interrupted by Marco
"What do you mean exactly." Marco said raising his eyebrows.
"In this world every moment is a struggle. Just because a path has been declared safe doesn't mean it will always be safe. There are times where the very same place you think as safe became dangerous. Life is like a book it has all the elements such as sadness, happiness twists and danger but we cannot do anything but live for that is life" said Ryan looking at the Sun that was setting.
That time everyone saw Ryan not as the rising star nor the youngest researcher but an old man who has experienced everything in his life and just wants to live peacefully but cannot.

"The Glowing Cerulean waves are the phenomenon were the waves glows due to bioluminescent plants" said Alicia.
Soon after a bit of talk about the Glowing Cerulean Waves Ryan and the trainers went to sleep. They were quite weirded out by Ryan sleeping on the trees but left it as it is.
At midnight Ryan was woken up by a sudden shake in the surroundings. Everyone came out alarmed clutching their pokeballs.
"What is it?" asked Alex frantically.
"Must be some elite pokemon" muttered Marco.
"Don't Jinx us Marco" shouted Lisa.
Soon Ryan heard a sound coming towards them.
"Something is headed towards us" Ryan alerted them.
Soon water burst out of the trees and fog was created. Everyone threw their pokeball.
Soon a Medicham, Unfezant, Shedinja, Charizard, and Bisharp came out of the pokeballs. Ryan analyzed all of them.

But the trainers have given priority of move mastery to wrong moves and they have also taught TMs which will be not efficient at all. Ryan then concentrated in front of him seeing the pokemon in front of him.
The pokemon was bulky, aquamarine-blue, bipedal toad-like Pokémon. Its underside and the bumps found on various parts of its body are cyan with thick black edges. Its hands and feet have three bulbous digits. It also has red eyes, cyan adornments on its legs, and a long tongue.
'A Seismitoad. It is a Water Ground type pokemon. Its Water type moves must have their power increased due to the concentrated Water type aura around the forest.' thought Ryan.
"Be careful Water type pokemon are said to be stronger in the Cerulean Forest for unknown reason if anyone of you have super effective grass type move use it at the right time to defeat it" said Ryan.
And the Battle began.
