Pokemon Saga: Journey of a Lifetime Ch37

Ryan kept his aura detection active while he slept so that if any pokemon comes near them they can defeat it. Soon after Ryan slept he felt two presence, but one of the presence was weak. It was not trying to mask its presence, but its slowly losing its lifeforce.

Ryan immediately went towards it along with his pokemon. When they reached it. They saw a Gardevoir carrying a Ralts. It seems like it has used its power to keep the Ralts alive till now which was dying.

Ryan immediately remembered his past life where he lost his parents and little sister. Remembering this he rushed towards the Gardevoir. The Gardevoir which had sensed the presence was ready to fight but was too weak. It has kept its child alive using its move wish continuously.

The Gardevoir then sensed the mixed emotion of the human that was coming near them. It was a mixture of hope, worry, sadness, determination. It had just lost its husband who was trying to defend her and their child.

Ryan went near the Gardevoir and started to channel his aura on it. The gardevoir could sense her power and life force getting healed slowly. She was amazed, she has only heard stories of aura guardians but hasn't seen one. They were said to be gone extinct. With this new information she rested relived.

Soon she sensed her child's condition worsening as she was going to use her life force to heal it, the human said "Don't worry I will save your child, when it is healed it will need her mother so don't kill yourself".

Ryan immediately stopped the Gardevoir from using its life force and took Ralts in his hand and tapped into his aura which he hasn't used and channeled it on the Ralts. Soon a bright light that felt like mother's embrace enveloped the Ralts healing it at rapid pace.

The Gardevoir saw this astonished 'Who is this person. Even Aura guardians don't have such power' she thought. Ryan looked at Gardevoir and asked her. How did this happen? Ryan who had his father instincts active was absolutely furious.

He looked like he will destroy anything in his path. He hasn't felt like this since the Mega Beedrill incident. His answer came knocking at the door when few poachers came out of the bushes. They saw Ryan healing the Gardevoir & Ralts and thought of taking him with them too.

After all they had not seen power like that. He was a moving pokemon center!. "Kid we don't know how you came here, but you have power we have not seen. So you are going to come with us along with that B**** Gardev-" Before he could complete everyone could see his head rolling on the ground.

His partners who saw the head got absolutely scared and saw Ryan who had glowing crimson eyes, with aura raging around him. They also saw his hand which was outstretched. It had aura surrounding it and forming like a blade.

Ryan went on a rampage. Blood splattered on the ground staining the ground red. Gardvoir who was seeing this thought 'He became angry for us and is slaughtering them for us, but what am I doing?. Just watching him'. Gardevoir soon got enveloped by a bright light.

Soon Mega Gardevoir emerged and started to throw Shadow Balls on the Poacher's pokemon absolutely destroying them. It was a beautiful dance. A beautiful dance of death and destruction.

Soon Ryan calmed down. He had left one of them alive for questioning. He asked him "How did you find this island?" . "We were in a boat going towards Cinnab1r island before a storm destroyed our ship and we ended up here" he said hoping he would buy the lie.

Unfortunately for him he was dealing with an angry mother and father. Ryan looked towards Gardevoir who shook her head saying no. "If you want to do it the hard way, the we shall do it." saying that Ryan started torturing the poacher.

"The Council" he shouted. Ryan stopped in his tracks. "Council you say" he said. "Yes they pay us for hunting strong pokemon. We took their help and found this island which was undiscovered and decided to profit from it ourselves" the poacher confessed. "Now you will leave me right." he asked.

"Hopeful are you? feel the same helplessness as the pokemon you hunted" Ryan spat as he left him their for the pokemon to rip him apart.

Ryan went back to the camp and saw the Gardevoir and Ralts hugging each other crying. "What happened" Ryan asked Pikachu.

"It seems like Garedvoir was pregnant when the poachers came here. Gardevoir and her husband Gallade were tending to their child when the poachers came in. They started to run as Gallade took a last stand to give them time to run. Gallade is now dead trying to fight 5 elite pokemon." Pikachu replied. Ryan just nodded.

"Would you two like to come with me?" asked Ryan. Gardevoir saw Ryan and said "I may be above Lv. 40 but I can't fight anymore. What can you do with a useless pokemon like me" she said sniffling. "No pokemon is useless Gardevoir, you are a strong parental figure you can take care of newly hatched pokemon in my party" He said

"So, what is your answer?" Ryan asked patiently. "I accept" she said and tapped the pokeball. Ralts also did the same following her mother's example.
