Ryan was training his pokemon when he got a call from Lillian. She had told him to come and meet her in the Team Rocket meeting zone. Ryan though confused went to meet her. The Team Rocket Meeting zone is where people come to talk with each other irrespective of their ranks.

Ryan put his Team Rocket Captain jacket which symbolizes his rank as a Captain. Team Rocket Uniforms from the Rank of Captain onwards are just like regular trainer outfit but has hidden features. It is also Heatproof, Waterproof and made from materials which are expensive.

The higher you rank the more expensive is material your uniform is made from. The uniform also has few things that indicates what rank the person is. Ryan went to the teleportation point. The teleporter seeing an higher ranking person bowed down and teleported him to his destination.

Ryan soon opened his eyes to see a place that looked like a Café. He immediately noticed the hair of Lillian which stood out due to its colour. He went and sat opposite to her. She immediately hugged him for a second before leaving him. She said "Ryan you really are my lucky star you have solidified my promotion to a Head Executive!" she exclaimed.

Ryan saw her ring which was made of gold and immediately bowed to her. "No formalities" she said sternly. Ryan only nodded. Lillian then spoke seriously "Now onto the topic, The Boss wants to meet you.". Ryan's eyes went wide.

Lillian grinned and said "You heard me correctly you are going to meet the boss. Apparently he is very impressed by your work. Especially with the title 'Little Professor'". Ryan suppressed a groan and said "Do you, by any chance, know what he is going to talk about?".

"Who knows? Boss's mind is very complex. No one knows what he is thinking about. Only the assistant and the people who know for a long time can read him" said Lillian. "When should I meet him" asked Ryan. "In 15 minutes?" Lillian said. "Wait. . .15 minutes and you are telling me now?" Ryan said.

"Relax 'Little Professor' I have a pokemon which can use teleport. I can just teleport you to Boss's office." said Lillian. Ryan relaxed visibly listening to her but got annoyed hearing her say 'Little Professor'. "Well, come on I'll teleport you" saying that Lillian called her Kadabra and teleported herself and Ryan.

After teleporting Lillian said "This is the Boss's office. Good Luck". Ryan knocked the door and waited for a reply. "Come in" said a voice. The voice was nothing like he had heard before, it was a voice of a commander a war veteran ordering his soldiers. Ryan opened the door and went in. He saw a man petting a Persian.

The man had smooth chocolate Brown hair, fair skin, he also looked like he was in his 30's, He wore an orange suite and pant, he had a tie which was red in colour. Ryan saw the Persian he was petting and used analysis.

Ryan was stupefied, He hasn't seen any pokemon like this in this world!. He can now see why Giovanni doesn't have a bodyguard the pokemon itself is equal to 20 bodyguards!. He wondered if this pokemon was his pet or a bodyguard. Ryan guessed both.

Giovanni saw Ryan stare at Persian stupefied. Giovanni knew that Ryan can sense the power of his persian. No one has escaped the clutches of his Persian if the person had ill intentions. That aside Giovanni was very curious about how Ryan knows that this pokemon is not just for show but also a bodyguard.

"You seem to know Persian's power, care to tell how?" Giovanni asked Ryan with a smirk. "Instinct sir. The moment I saw him, Red flags waved in my head telling this pokemon is very dangerous." Ryan told covering up lies with truth. He felt his instincts flare, he felt this pokemon was dangerous after all he was telling truth.

Giovanni was very satisfied with his answer. 'How many people?, just how many people in team rocket were like him? there were absolutely no on in these few years' Giovanni thought.

"I saw your mission reports and found out that you have 100% completion rate" he started. "I found that you had also finished the missions Elite Captains couldn't do. You not only finished it in 2 days but also gave top notch information about Mt. Moon" Giovanni continued. "I am very pleased by this, so tell me what is it do you want?" asked Giovanni.

Ryan hesitated. Giovanni saw this and told "Ryan don't hesitate. You are an excellent member of Team Rocket, I give rewards for those who deserve. Tell what you want money? promotion? pokemon? ask away" Giovanni tried to stimulate Ryan.

"With all due respect sir, I don't have any attachment towards position or wealth. I just want to get stronger with the pokemon I caught" said Ryan.

'This boy. . . he is one of a kind. It is this kind of talent that we need in our organization' thought Giovanni. "Hmm. . Then what about a place that will make you stronger?" asked Giovanni.

That immediately caught Ryan's attention. This didn't get unnoticed by Giovanni. "I'll give you a map of a place where you can train and get stronger. There are also many rare pokemon there." Giovanni said.

"If you are ok with it sir." said Ryan. "I want you to answer one question" said Giovanni.

"What is it sir" Ryan asked. "Which faction are you? The Council? The Organization?" Giovanni asked.

Ryan's eyes became cold as blizzard during winter. "I am currently neutral but certain facts are making me lean towards the Dark." Ryan said not noticing his tone.

"I see, your reward will be given to you by Lillian." Giovanni said.

Giovanni saw Ryan leave. He saw those burning crimson eyes go cold when he mentioned the Council. Those eyes were the coldest eyes he has ever seen. It was colder than the coldest winters. 'I look forward to see what you will do in the future Mortimer' thought Giovanni
