Pokemon Saga: Journey of a Lifetime Ch30

The pokemon almost black in colour. It had red colour on its neck. Its shoulders looked like smoke. Its hair was white in colour white was floating upwards. It was Darkrai. Ryan kept his calm and asked "Then where on Arceus's name am I?" Ryan asked.

"You are one peculiar child, everyone screams and become afraid of me who is an embodiment of nightmares and darkness. You are not like them." Darkari said. "You are also a pokemon. why should I be afraid of pokemons who are my sole family?" asked Ryan.

"Oh! You see pokemons as your family?" asked Darkrai. "Yes. Also you are different from what humans describe you to be". Darkrai noted that he said the word humans with disdain. "You never know anything about a pokemon until you meet it" said Darkarai.

"Follow me I was tasked to escort you" said Darkrai. Ryan followed Darkrai into what seemed to be a endless tunnel of darkness. When Ryan came out of the tunnel, he saw a world with chunks floating here and there some facing upside down. 'Oh Arceus! this is the Distortion World. The world Giratina rules over and maintains to keep the balance with the overworld' Ryan thought.

"Come here" commanded a voice. Ryan went forward and saw an shadow looming in front of him. He braced himself, prepared for the worst and stood in front of him. Hello young Darkling.

"Darkling?" Ryan whispered unfortunately for him it echoed loudly "No offence" I added. "None taken, I call everyone who is younger than me an Darkling".

"I have a pretty good idea why I am here. So what is my punishment?".

"Straight to the point I see, but you misunderstood you have no punishment." Giratina said. "What?" Ryan said bewildered.

"I am not an cruel entity that everyone portray me as. In fact I wasn't even banished!" He said exasperated.I could only blink. "I was tasked by father to govern over this land to keep balance with overworld since my idiotic brothers will cause endless shenanigans for him to deal with."

Only Rayquaza knows how hard it is to deal with idiotic siblings who have too much power. Anyway I am here so that if Dialga and Palkia fight I have to clean up the mess that appears here." He ranted.

"I thought you fought with your brothers too?" Ryan asked choosing his words carefully. "No need to be cautious and for your question yes I fight but it is because I am the eldest brother and have to stop their idiocy and they are annoying so I have to give two or three hits to blow off my steam" he said though he grumbled the last part.

"Anyway back to main topic Your Dreepy that you affectionately call Shadow was able to learn my move!" he exclaimed happily. "You seem pretty happy " I said .

"Of course a Pokémon was able to learn my move. Even if I were to fade away my legacy will be carried trough your Pokémon"

Ryan was left speechless 1. Giratina is not actually banished, 2. he is not dark and emo as the anime portrayed him as, 3. He is happy that a Pokémon managed to learn his move.

"Oh! Also, I'll bless you and your Pokémon and give you a bit of my power it is not everyday an Pokémon learns a signature move of legendary after all".

"Why do you think Shadow was able to learn your move?" Ryan asked him gathering his courage.

"Hmm. . . my guess is that he was blessed by me indirectly when he was in an egg coupled along with your aura, blessings and finally his type is same as mine. If that is not the reason I have no idea" he said.

"Hold on you said you said 'blessed by you indirectly' what's that suppose to mean?" Ryan asked him not even bother addressing with respect as Giratina doesn't like it.

"His mother and father were Extremely powerful Primordial-rank Dragapults who had my blessings. When they had a child their blessings coupled together and was passed on to him." Giratina said

"Now its time for you to go if you were seen by my father he will start to lecture me" said Giratina.

Day 3: Ryan woke up for real this time. He tried to convince himself that it was just a dream, a lucid dream. Keyword being 'tried'. As he was thinking about the dream a light came from his chest. Ryan took of his shirt to see what it was.

He saw a symbol above where his heart was, it was the symbol of Giratina. This was enough to tell him that yesterday was not a dream. He put his shirt on and did his routine. When he was going to leave his room he saw a note that was not there before.

It said: "Ryan you and your pokemon are welcome to my world anytime. - Sincerely Giratina". Ryan didn't know what to say. He just sighed and continued with his day. He started to train his pokemon as usual. He also named the move where Dreepy goes to evade attacks as 'Phantom Step'.

Soon time passed as all of Ryan's pokemon reached above level 25. Ryan's idea was to keep everyone of his pokemon between the level of 30 to 40. This level gap is the best time to absorb resources like crystals, corpse of a high rank pokemon etc.

Soon Ryan called Prof. Oak and asked him about the resources and where he can buy them. "Ryan I myself can give you some resources. there are many of them lying around in the storage not used" was professor's reply.

Ryan hesitated at first but knew in this world you have to use anything at your disposal to survive. Soon prof. Oak sent the resources to Ryan's house. Ryan soon gave Pikachu an high rank Lightstone. This is an special stone which enhances electric type attacks and increases Pikachu's potential.

For now he is giving resources only to Pikachu due to his level. As soon as Ryan gave the light stone to Pikachu started to eat it. Ryan didn't complain because to absorb a resource consuming it is the best way. He is convinced that after Pikachu will definitely breakthrough Legend talent.

The other days passed by without any interesting things except him training the pokemons.

Now he is checking the results using analysis.
