"Mr Asahito, your performance is about to begin in a few minutes."

"Understood, I'll be finished in a bit."

The voice of a young man could be heard from what appeared to be a room with a number of mirrors and different clothing hung up inside of multiple long closets. The male that spoke appeared to be seventeen or so in age and had a lean figure with slightly pale skin, along with a pair of yellow-tinted pale green eyes.

The male was fixing up his current attire, which consisted of a pair of long black sleek pants and white leather tall boots with yellow soles and were secured with leather straps. He was also wearing a tight yellow t-shirt underneath a sleeveless open black leather vest that reached halfway down his upper body, along with a black watch on his left wrist and a black band on his right.

Around his neck were a pair of black and white headphones that had neon yellow LED lights on either speaker, along with a microphone connected to it. Finally, around his neck was a circular pendant that was hanging around his neck by a silver chain.

This person was Cayde Asahito, a young worldwide famous idol that was popular for his incredible voice. He was also known for being able to sing fluently in both English as well as Japanese, which wasn't too surprising as he had told people that he was half British and half Japanese.

He was also the singer of multiple other songs for things such as openings and endings for anime, the creator of music for a number of different games that have been produced, and more as well.

The person that Cayde had just responded to was one of the staff members of the venue he was currently at for his performance as he was fixing up his clothes, preparing to get on stage. Cayde sighed as he tugged on his vest, adjusting it a bit so it was comfortable on his body.

"Alright, I can do this..." Cayde muttered to himself as he looked at himself in the mirror. His silvery-white neat hair covering over his right eye slightly as he slabbed both his cheeks lightly. He wasn't at all nervous, he had already done this many times before. The reason he was pumping himself up was that it was just overall stressful.

As much as he loved making music and singing, he had to admit that it was an incredibly stressful thing. Especially since he had many expectations to meet so that he could satisfy his fans. Composing music and more, a very tiring and stressful career.

"Let's go!" Cayde nodded to himself before cracking his neck before walking out of the preparation room. When he did, he quickly began making his way towards where he was going to enter the stage as he was greeted by one of the staff members.

"Okay, Mr Asahito. This platform will raise you onto the stage, you know what to do from there."

"Mm, got it. Thank you." The staff member nodded back before walking off to continue their work as Cayde walked onto the platform that was mention. He could hear the loud voices of the people out there even though he had yet to be raise. He hadn't even appeared yet and they were already cheering.

[Alright, ladies and gentlemen! It's time for the moment all of you have been waiting for! Performing his song Distant Road To Eden! Please welcome to the stage, our radiant prince himself, Cayde Asahito!]

As soon as Cayde heard the voice coming from the speakers, the platform began to raise up as the cheers of the audience were absolutely deafening. You couldn't even hear the sound of your own voice at all through their cheers as Cayde closed his eyes as he was being risen up.

As the platform stopped rising, Cayde slowly opened his eyes as many lights began to shine at once as the instrumental behind him began playing. Cayde could see the absolutely packed stadium in front of him, easily holding over tens of thousands of people.

When Cayde started singing, his voice sounded out throughout the entire place as everyone instantly became entranced by his powerful yet calm and gentle voice. His voice was playing through the many speakers set up throughout the concert area as the LEDs on his headphones shined brightly.

The headphones that he was wearing were a gift given to him by his older brother many years ago, it was a gift that Cayde has treasured and kept maintained for all this time. They weren't normal headphones though, they were incredibly expensive.

The headphones allowed the user to project their voice outwards through different functions on the headphones, amplifying one's voice so it could be easily heard. Not only that, it had storage space for different music files that Cayde used to place instrumentals and such for him to practice singing and more. The music that is played can also be projected outwards from these headphones.

As the song continued, Cayde widened his eyes suddenly as his voice stuttered. He suddenly felt a sharp pain cross his heart as he stumbled on his feet, his right hand gripping his chest. The audience seemed confused by his actions, though become extremely panicked when he was forced down to his knees while still holding his chest.

Cayde wasn't sure what the heck was happening, this had never happened to him before. He had never had any issues with his heart, maybe it was the stress, or something else. He wasn't sure. All he did know right now was that he was in damn agony as it felt like someone had just popped his heart like a balloon.

He didn't last long on his knees as he fell to the ground completely while curling up in pain, releasing grunts of pain that could be heard from the speakers since his headphones were still on. The staff were all in a panic as they were turning off the effects and lights as medical teams were all rushing onto the stage.

"Turn off the cameras!"

"Get the situation under control!"

Security was trying to calm down the audience members that were in a massive panic as their idol was on the ground in pain, seemingly having a heart attack. Cayde gritted his teeth as he was trying to push away the pain, but it was to no avail as it just kept hurting more and more.

Soon, his body started feeling cold as his visioning was blurring greatly. It didn't take long at all before his vision completely died as his body went completely numb...

"Excuse me, young man? Are you okay?"

"Wh-What..."

"Young man! Please wake up!" The voice of an elderly man could be heard calling out. Cayde could feel his body being lightly shaken, most likely by the owner of the voice he was hearing. Did whatever just happen finally pass? Then who was the guy that was speaking to him?

Cayde slowly opened up his eyes as sunlight soon entered his vision, causing him to immediately close his eyes as he blinked them a few times to get them used to the light. Cayde then slowly began getting up from his laying down position, holding his head in confusion.

He had his right hand holding his forehead as the other was supporting him as he sat up. Cayde could feel that his hand was placed onto a rough surface, which he easily could see was concrete. Though, there was grass past it. Looking around, he could see that he was in some kind of park.

Cayde was insanely confused right now, wasn't he just on stage as he passed out? He did remember that little heart attack he had, but if he was moved soon after, why wasn't he in a hospital or something? Why was he in a damn park?

"Thank goodness you are alright, you had me worried there!" Cayde blinked as he heard the voice again. Cayde looked beside and up to see that an old man wearing a simple pair of cotton and leather clothing was standing above him, supporting himself using a cane.

"Who are..."

"Oh, my apologies! My name is Vincent, a pleasure to meet you, young man."

"I see, nice to meet you too... My name is Cayde, Cayde Asahito." Cayde introduced himself with a confused look on his face. While he knew for a fact that his name wasn't known by every single person in the world, he doubted he was in another country that hadn't heard of him. That would illogical as he was just in America for his performance.

However, considering what he was seeing of the city he could see himself in, he didn't recognise these buildings at all. It was definitely not the city he was in that his performance was held in, there was no doubt about that at all.

'This guy is also speaking English, that narrows it down at least...' Cayde noticed that the man was speaking English, so he could at least assume he was in a country that spoke the English language. So, maybe he really was still in America. Though, where was he though if he was still in America?

"I see, Cayde it is. Mind telling me why you were laying down on the ground in the middle of the pathway?" Vincent questioned in confusion and concern. Cayde blinked as he noticed that he indeed was currently sat in the middle of the concrete path leading through the park they were in.

"Honestly, I'm not exactly sure..." Cayde frowned as he responded to the man. He needed to find out where in the world he was, as soon as possible. Might as well start asking. "Do you mind telling me where it is I am exactly? What city is this?"

"Hm? What city? Well, you are in Cranveil City. How don't you know?"

"M-My mind is just a bit fuzzy, I'm just having trouble remembering a few things at the moment..." Cayde lied as he didn't want to sound too suspicious. He had never ever heard of Cranveil City before, though maybe it was just a city that wasn't too big so he hadn't really ever heard of it.

"Ah~, I see. That is unfortunate." Vincent nodded his head in understanding. "The city here does lead directly to Lumiose City though, are you perhaps from there?"

"N-No, I'm from much further away..."

"Ah, okay then. Well, I better get going. Hope you stay safe now, young man." Vincent gave a nod as he began walking away. Cayde just watched with a calm expression on his face as the man walked away, though he was definitely not feeling that calm inside though.

"Lumiose City... That sounds familiar." Cayde frowned as he muttered these words. He wasn't sure from where, but he had definitely heard the name Lumiose City somewhere before. He shook his head though, he couldn't think of anything. 'At least my chest is fine now, and my headphones, thank God...'

Cayde sighed in relief as he pulled his headphones from around neck and back over his ears, making sure to check if it was still working. Which it was. Also, he was very lucky that they were also solar-charged, so he didn't need to worry about not being able to charge them at least.

"Hm?" Cayde frowned as he could feel something in his pocket, it felt kind of like a phone, though it was a bit too thick for that. He reached into his pocket and took out what appeared to be a red device, one that was a rounded square with a glass interface at the center. "Wait... isn't this?"

Cayde blinked as he turned the device in multiple directions to get a look at it from multiple angles, the device was very familiar to him. When he pressed the center button, the device extended open as information started appearing on the glass screen, making him widen his eyes.

"I-It is..." Cayde stuttered as he held the device in his hands. The device he was holding was a Pokedex, more specifically, a Kalos Pokedex. While he had never actually played the games past the Black and White games, he had seen some screenshots many years ago.

The last time he actually played a pokemon game was over four years ago, and he had never really interacted with anything related to pokemon ever since. His career as an idol really kicked off, so he had no time at all for playing games due to making songs and such. He had started becoming famous when he was probably only around thirteen.

"This can't be real..." Cayde shook his head as he saw a bunch of information regarding himself on the Pokedex. It also had him labeled as being from "Pueltown", which Cayde could remember was a town from Almia, which is a region from one of the Pokemon Ranger spinoff games. It may have been years ago, but he still has a good memory.

Cayde then quickly closed down the device before pocketing it as he then checked the rest of his body, looking for anything else that he might have on him that he didn't have before. He pretty much instantly found three small spheres in his left pockets, which he easily identified as Pokeballs.

"I guess I didn't notice since I was too focused on figuring out where I was..." Cayde muttered as he held one of the balls in his left hand. The ball wasn't primed so it was small enough to easily fit in his pocket, Cayde then pressed the button as it somehow grew in size. "It actually works, is this for real... This has to be a dream, right?"

Cayde frowned as he played around with the Pokeball. While he was always the person who was open to supernatural things, it was still hard to believe. Was he really in the pokemon world? The items he had seemed to suggest that, but was it really true?

Even if he were to believe that he was truly in the world of pokemon, which was supposed to be completely fictional, how did he get here? Who was the person that brought him here and why did they give him these Pokeballs and the Pokedex.

"Empty... Empty... Empty." Cayde frowned as he opened up each of the three Pokeballs. It seemed that none of them had a pokemon inside. If this was really the world of pokemon and he wanted to catch something, he needed to be wise about it. He didn't have money and couldn't buy more if he runs out, which would definitely happen as he only has three on him.

Speaking of money, that was now another issue he was facing. At least he was in a city, so he was in civilisation and not in the wild. Now, he needed to find a way to get some money. He's not an immortal being, he needed to buy food and other things to survive. He could try to go to the wild and get some berries, but he wasn't even sure if there was going to be any around.

What to do...
