"That should be the last of the reports from us. Now that that's over, let's get straight to the point. Why did you call this meeting early Giovanni?" Lt. Surge said in a carefree voice.

The man himself leaning on a chair with his legs crossed, lost his smirk and got a serious look.

This wasn't too out of the ordinary though as most gym leaders had relaxed expressions.

"Of course, I won't waste any more time and get straight to the point Lieutenant… I'm going to be stretching out my manpower towards the Johto region and others in the future. As the borders as starting to open my gains as a leader lessened compared to confining myself here." Giovanni says with a sly smirk seeing all the attentive faces of everyone on the holograms.

"So you're going to be leaving your position vacant? Are you expecting us to fill in for you or get you a replacement?" Sabrina interrupts with a neutral look seemingly not too interested.

"What I mean is that I'll be leaving this entirely. Do with my position as you all see fit. Find a new leader, let an unofficial gym gain it, It doesn't matter. I am making sure I don't leave you guys high and dry as a common courtesy. It will take a year or so to finish my move." He says making the rest finally understand what he means.

No point in making avoidable enemies that wouldn't attack him without prior hostility. Especially since they all have been benefiting from himself.

Especially future monsters like two future elite four members in Koga and Sabrina, military veteran Surge and Blaine with both of them having connections everywhere. 

Peacefully going is the way.

Profit and money was the deciding factor of keeping close relations.

"Letting another gym leader take up power would give them too much influence. Let alone the power vacuum someone of your calibre would leave. We need to appoint someone as the league will try to get a person among our influence." A different gym leader with a lab cloak chimes in.

This person was the Blaine the gym leader of Cinnibar Island.

Everyone who heard this all agreed in the end and started to think to themselves about the matter. A man like Giovanni is currently in control of a lot of things such as an organisation and if his reach lessens in the region, others with power will take over.

"Hmm, if Giovanni can delay his leave till the end of this years league then we may have a prospect." Lt. Surge says with a maniacal grin. This made some interested while others a bit sceptical. "You guys might wanna see this video, especially you Flint. You've been really silent these days."

As Surge says this a link to a video of a Pokemon battle was given to each of their contacts.…

After watching the video everyone in that meeting could only think of one thing.

'What the fvck.'

"Clefairy you want this?"

Looking at the little Pokemon trying to reach for a Cleffa plushie, my face gets an amused expression.

Treecko ended up stepping in and helping her grab it from the shelf.

"Tree tree!" the gecko said handing her the plush. Clefairy with stars in her eyes took the plush while jumping around in glee.

Her little hops could cure dreppresion.

"You have to take good care of it okay?"

"Clefairy!" the little fluff said doing a cute salute.

As this was happening two other Pokemon were off to the side looking at some stickers.

'I should let them style their own Pokeball.' I thought remembering the inconvenience of sorting my Pokeballs. Beforehand in the gym, I had to confirm which Pokeballs were for who.

My Pokemon and I were currently at the mall in Vermillion called SM Megamall. Considering that Vermillion is the third biggest city in Kanto they must have a place like this.

With Surge as their guardian angel, they have a lot of leeway against other cities due to his aggressive nature.

Like the trading routes being the safest and crime rates being one of the lowest in the region.

"Squirtle squirt!"

A Squirtle could be seen nudging a Tyrogue while pointing at its trainers.

"Tyro?" he responded confused.

"Squirt!"

Pointing towards a different collection of Pokeball stickers the Squirtle had stars in its eyes. Tyrogue who took a glance, soon after had the same reaction as well and ran to its trainer.

"Treecko don't take random things from the store, these aren't yours," I say giving the gecko a little lesson. Teaching a Pokemon basic stuff like this from the wild is necessary as do not get into any trouble

*Thud*

As I was gonna turn around I heard a noise near my legs. Turning my head the sight of a Tyrogur face planted to the floor was there.

"Clefairy ry ry!" Clefairy seamlessly laughed with Treecko smirking a little.

"Ty ty…"

Seeing the pitiful guy standing up I help him recover. Soon after this, we followed the guy who was leading me to Squirtle.

While this was happening I of course had to go keep an eye on Clefairy and Treecko. Randomly as we walked I had to drag the fairy as it wanted more plushies.

"tree tree..." Treecko who saw this could only shake his head following next to me.

it only took a few more seconds until we arrived to the corner of the shop avoiding most people here. Thankfully the shop allowed Pokemom thus making the walking space huge.

"Squirtle!"

Looking at the tiny turtle, it seemed to be infatuated with a certain basket. Getting closer I read the label of the basket.

[Pokeball Stickers (Re-usable)]

"You want one of these Squirtle?" I asked to which the turtle vigorously nodded. "Alright, the rest of you can pick a few as well. Clefairy let me hold onto the plush for you."

Clefairy who heard this heresy, clutched her best friend defensively. Sighing at this I let it go as the rest of them started to rummage through the multitude of stickers. Fortunately these weren't just any stickers that were thin and easily breakable.

Not sure what material it's made out of but it's pretty durable which almost everything human in this world naturally is due to everyones strength. Normal humans, babies, pokemon. etc... have strength above anyone their age from earth.

This also meant that people ate more naturally.

And the fact Pokemon are elemental breathing monsters...

'I'll let them get what they want then let Lairon and Scyther pick theirs after.' I thought as my mind wandered off a little. As the time passes while I was on my Pokedex just going back and forth between Brock.

[Brock (Brock Harrison)]

You: Brock how many badges does Ash have right now?

Brock: He doesn't have one yet as we just made it to Rustboro City

You: I've already got two badges and beat Surge on my first try

Brock: Hold up you already have TWO BADGES??? It took ash two months to get his first two and you already know he didn't exactly get them legit

Brock: ._.

You: What's his team lookin ridht now den?

Brock: Hmmm let me double check

Brock: Pikachu, Taillow, Nuzleaf and Ralts

Forrest: 😮 😮 😮 !!!!!

"So this most likely is the Treecko that was meant to be Ash's. It's already long past the time Ash met them as well."

Closing my Pokédex I look back to the jumbled mess of adorable creatures I've entangled myself with. Taking a look at the wide eyes of the eager little guys, my eyes dart to the stickers.

Squirtle got a Blastioise sticker with a waterfall sticker to accompany it as well.

"Not bad, not bad." I say patting the tiny turtle's head which made it growl in satisfaction.

"Squirtle-" 

Smirking at the little guys expression I look at Tyrogue's picks. He ended up choosing a sticker with a black belt and another in a stadium filled to the brim.

Made sense seeing where he grew up though (If y'all don't remember he is from the Saffron Dojo).

'It seems like he has aspirations to prove himself.'

Clefairy got five stickers for some reason which was interesting. I was forced to limit her to three as she already had a plushie.

The three she painstakingly chose were a Clefairy sticker, a pond sticker and a sticker with a mountain. Quite the interesting picks.

Lastly was the new member Treecko.

Due to our little shopping trip, he got to befriend most of the squad which is nice. But he is still quite distanced somewhat.

"Fairryyy!!" the little fluff cried out with tears as Treecko dragged her away from the basket. The other two chuckling at this just watched as the gecko handed me his choice.

"Are you sure you only want one?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. Treecko hearing this just nodded making me smile.

Looking at the sticker with a tree symbol, my mind remembers what happened to his homeland in the anime.

'At least him or a different Treecko planted a new sapling.'

Gathering up all the stickers I soon after took one of those pamphlets with 100+ smaller stickers. Honestly I just wanted the re-usable ones for my Pokémon's new Pokeball if I ever decide that.

While these are just for entertainment it's better to play around than train all day. These guys need to function as not only battle machines after all.

After paying for all the stickers which wasn't expensive at all, I wanted to return Treecko and Clefairy to their Pokeballs.

*Phsszszst*

"Alright it's now your turn Clefairy." I say amused.

"Fairy Clefairy?" It said looking at the plush with moist eyes. 

Mid-way to returning Clefairy though her eyes widened to an unnatural degree. This ended up making my body feel a little weak physically.

"Is that a new move?"

Realising this was the move {Baby-Doll Eyes} My jaw drops at how she learned it.

'There's no way she learnt a whole ass move for a plushie…'

Soon after though my face got a wide grin plastered on it with a soft villainous cackle following suit.

"Hehe gimie!" I playfully teased as I returned the poor fluff to her Pokeball. The two who saw this, started to laugh out loud.

"Tyrogue ty!"

"Squirtle Squirtle!"

Unfortunately for one of them, while backing up fell on their backs.

*Thud*

The tiny turtle with its shell holding it up, prevented it from standing back up. Through who were already laughing were thrown into hysteria seeing the chain of events

"Squirt squirtle (it's not funny anymore)..." Squirtle said with tears threatening to fall out. Getting a soft expression I walk over to the turtle and held him in my embrace.

"Let's help your brothers to choose their own stickers alright? They're too big or can't hold one themselves." I inform the two making them nod determined. "Alright take the two Pokeball in my pocket."

Tyrogue nodding at my instructions, walked over and grabbed the two Pokeballs.

*Phsszst*

"Lairon!"

"Scyther..."

With the two Pokemon out Lairon already deduced what we were doing and relaxed itself. The same couldn't be said for the paranoid mantis as it saw many Pokemon and humans around it.

With the "relatively small space" for battle that is, Scyther watched as tens of humans and Pokemon walked by.

'I'll need to teach him a little bit about being in public, but this isn't too bad as having an observant Pokemon is good for the wild.'
